Following a 4-0 series victory over England in 2021/22, Australia managed a 2-2 draw in a famous 2023 battle, where Australia were poised for an outright win after winning the first two tests, but England fought back to take out the third and final tests (fourth test was a draw).

While recent contests in England have been competitive, The Ashes series played Down Under has been one-way way traffic for the Aussies, who dominated 5-0 in 2013/2014 and they've been 4-0 victors via the last two series at home.

Although England haven't won a test in Australia since their away series victory in 2010/11, the 'Bazball' style promises aggressive cricket and along with having a host of dangerous batsman in their squad, England will aim to match the fast bowling firepower of the Aussies with some quality quicks of their own.
