Morocco vs Haiti World Cup Tips, Prediction & Live Stream

Morocco will be confident of locking in their knockout spot when they face already-eliminated Haiti in World Cup Group C action on Wednesday night at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Semi-finalists at the 2022 World Cup and reigning AFCON champions, Morocco have established themselves as one of the premier nations in football and they have a chance to top Group C with a big win over Haiti here. A lot will depend on Brazil's result against Scotland in the other Group C game, but all Morocco can do is try and win this game by as many goals as possible.

The Atlas Lions certainly have the firepower - Brahim Diaz continues to provide big impact for the national team, while Ismael Saibari is looking to become the first African player to score in all three World Cup group matches. With 18-year-old rising star Ayyoub Bouaddi pulling the strings in midfield, Morocco should be winning this game comfortably.

Haiti still haven't scored a this World Cup and although they will want to put on a show in their final game, I can't see them penetrating this tight Morocco defence, who has kept a clean sheet in nine of their last 10 wins.

Morocco win to nil is the main play, with Saibari and Diaz to be involved in the goals. The AFCON champions have every incentive to score, so a big 4-0 win appeals.
  • Morocco are unbeaten in their last 31 games, winning 26
  • Nine of Morocco's last 10 wins have been to nil
  • Haiti have failed to score in four of their last five defeats
  • Brahim Diaz has scored or assisted in his last three games for Morocco
  • Ismael Saibari has scored in both World Cup games this tournament

Morocco vs Haiti Head To Head

This will be the first meeting between the two nations.

Morocco Form Analysis

Ranked sixth in the world, Morocco look in strong form and a threat to repeat their run to the World Cup semi-finals from four years ago.

The Atlas Lions were good value and arguably the better side in a 1-1 opening draw with Brazil before doubling down for a 1-0 victory over Scotland, with Bayern Munich target Ismael Saibari scoring after just 70 seconds, backing up his strike against Brazil.

Morocco had a whopping 601 completed passes against the Scots, which is the most by an African side at a World Cup since 1966.

Morocco Team News

No fresh injury concerns for Morocco, with Saibari and Diaz set to continue as the main targets up front.

Haiti Form Analysis

Haiti have fought bravely, but they remain without a goal or a win and are already eliminated from this World Cup due to their H2H records.

Despite registering more shots than Scotland in their opening game, Haiti couldn't find a way through and ultimately went down 1-0 before being outclassed 3-0 by five-time winners Brazil, conceding all three goals in the opening half.

Should Haiti lose this game, they will equal El Salvador's unwanted record of losing all six World Cup games they've played.

Haiti Team News

All-time leading goalscorer Duckens Nazon remains in doubt for this clash, but otherwise Haiti have a clean bill of health.

Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor is a chance to come into the starting side up front as Haiti chase that elusive World Cup goal.
