Wests Tigers vs Manly Sea Eagles NRL Round 11 Tips & Prediction - Manly to pile more misery on Tigers

Manly Sea Eagles, revitalized under Kieran Foran, enter NRL Round 11 riding high after five wins in their last six matches, excelling in defense and attack. In stark contrast, the Wests Tigers have suffered a major form slump, conceding 96 points across their two most recent defeats. With Manly’s tight defense and attacking threats like Tolutau Koula, the Sea Eagles are heavily favored—backed to cover the -8.5 line and restrict the Tigers to under 22.5 points. Expect Manly’s dominance to continue and Koula to feature heavily in the tries.

Wests Tigers vs Manly Sea Eagles NRL Round 11 Tips & Prediction

Manly are flying with FozBall set to light up Magic Round to kick off Super Saturday. The Tigers have slipped into a worrying form slump amidst some injuries and are tipped to struggle once again.

The Sea Eagles have put together a stunning resurgence under Kieran Foran, winning five of their six games, with their lone defeat coming by two points against the Panthers.

Defence has been the cornerstone for Manly - they've conceded 18 points or less in all six games since Foran took charge. In turn, that's led to the electric Sea Eagles' attack to run rampant, led by Tolutau Koula, who is back in the centres and terrorising opposition defences.

Meanwhile, the Tigers' bright start to the season has collapsed, with Benji Marshall's side conceding 96 points in their last two defeats against the Sharks and Storm. The loss of Adam Doueihi has been huge, while you've got to think if Jarome Luai announcing his departure to the PNG Chiefs has had any impact amongst the playing group.

No need to overthink the two main plays here - back Manly to cover the -8.5 line and restrict the Tigers to Under 22.5 team points, which they've done in all of their games since Foran stepped in. The Tigers' defence has been abysmal, so look for Koula to run wild in open and support play, while Ben Trbojevic offers good value for a try, with the Tigers conceding four tries to second-rowers over the last fortnight.
  • Sea Eagles have won five of their last six games
  • Sea Eagles have covered a -8.5 line in all five of those wins
  • Sea Eagles have kept their opponents to 18 points or less in their last six games
  • Tigers have lost their last two games, conceding 96 points
  • Tigers have failed to score 23+ points in three of their last four games & in all four defeats this season
  • Tolutau Koula scored a try from fullback last week & scored three tries vs Tigers last season
  • Ben Trbojevic scored a try vs Tigers last season, while Tigers have conceded four tries to second-rowers over the last two games. Burbo also has two tries from his last six games this season

Wests Tigers Form Analysis

The Tigers starting the season strongly and full of promise before fading away - oh man, where have we seen this before?

To be fair, we're a long way from the Tigers' collapse throughout the 2025 season, but another big loss to Manly would set alarm bells ringing.

Benji Marshall's side were rolling to start the season, winning four of their opening five games. However, that one-point defeat to Brisbane was a turning point for the worse, with the Tigers suffering some key injuries and going on to lose by big margins against the Sharks and Storm.

Cronulla had a field day with their 52-10 romp and we saw how poor they were against Souths. Likewise, the Storm had lost seven straight before dropping 44 points on the Tigers last week. Not like the Tigers have been running into in-form sides, so imagine the destruction Manly could cause during Magic Round....

Manly Sea Eagles Form Analysis

It's being said Ad Nauseam now, but FozBall is real and the former five-eighth has instantly galvanised his side to play some inspiring footy.

Manly have always been good with the football, but defensively they've struggled. That's changed dramatically in such a short period of time, with the Sea Eagles conceding no more than 18 points in Foran's six games in charge.

After seeing their four-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Penrith, the Sea Eagles responded brilliantly in a marquee match at home last week.

Indeed, Manly ran riot over reigning premiers Brisbane, coming away with a dominant 32-4 victory. Lehi Hopoate scored a try for the sixth straight game, while Koula had two line breaks for 224 metres and a try.

Tigers vs Sea Eagles Team News

Terrell May returns for the Tigers at prop after missing last week, while Latu Fainu starts at hooker. Tristan Hope goes back to the pine as Ethan Roberts joins the six-man bench.

Big in for Manly with Jamal Fogarty returning from a groin injury, meaning young gun Joey Walsh drops back to the six-man interchange. Jake Simpkin also comes in at hooker for the suspended Brandon Wakeham.

Clayton Faulalo has been named at fullback and Tolu Koula in the centres like they were against Brisbane.
