The new NFL season is here, and it’s shaping up as one of the most fascinating in years. With blockbuster trades, a loaded draft class, and power shifting across the league, 2025 could deliver a wide-open race to Super Bowl LX.

The Green Bay Packers headline the contenders after pulling off the Micah Parsons trade. With Jordan Love developing and their defence finally adding an elite pass rusher, they’re poised to challenge the NFC’s best.

The 49ers boast the easiest schedule in the league and a healthy Christian McCaffrey, making this season a genuine “Super Bowl or bust” campaign. Meanwhile, the Houston Texans could surprise after rebuilding their offensive line around CJ Stroud.

On the flip side, the Lions may regress after losing both coordinators, the Commanders face a much tougher schedule, and the Chiefs could finally take a step back with O-line issues and too many close wins last season.
