Main Bet: Saquon Barkley Over 1,050.5 Rushing Yards

Barkley quietly went over 1,000 yards last season even in a down year for this offence, and Philadelphia is favoured in 13 of 17 games this year. New offensive coordinator Sean Mannion is bringing a zone scheme that should get Barkley out in space more often, and with the tush push conversion rate dropping off, expect a shift toward using him inside the five instead of leaning purely on Jalen Hurts.

Fun Bet: Jaden Daniels Over 4,000 Passing Yards

Daniels threw for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns as a rookie before injuries ended his second season early. Washington's defence is shaky enough that shootouts are likely, and with Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs both in the mix, a fully healthy Daniels pushing toward 4,000 yards is a live longshot if he stays on the field all season.

NFC North

Main Bet: Caleb Williams Over 3,575.5 Passing Yards

Williams threw for 3,942 yards as a rookie, breaking the Bears' single season passing record, and Ben Johnson has made it clear this offence is going to throw the ball early and often. The number sitting nearly 100 yards below where it hovered most of the summer is the kind of gap worth jumping on.

Fun Bet: Jahmyr Gibbs Over 11.5 Rushing Touchdowns

With David Montgomery gone to Houston, Gibbs is no longer sharing goal-line work in a timeshare. The comp here is Chris Johnson's 2009 breakout the year he became a bell-cow after splitting touches the year before. Gibbs is explosive enough to turn this from a committee stat into a workhorse number.

NFC South

Main Bet: Bijan Robinson Over 1,150.5 Rushing Yards

Robinson led the NFC in rushing yards last season, finishing just 22 yards short of 1,500, and posted back-to-back 1,400 yard seasons while topping five yards a carry for the first time in his career. With Tyler Allgeier now gone and 143 of his carries up for grabs, Robinson's workload only goes up from here.

Fun Bet: Kenneth Gainwell Over 825.5 Rushing Yards

Tampa Bay's new offensive coordinator wants to run a zone-read attack, and Gainwell profiles as the bell-cow back in it after posting big numbers with Atlanta running a similar scheme. He's also a weapon catching passes out of the backfield, which should pad the yardage further. The 1,000 yard escalator is live if he wins the clear-cut role.

NFC West

Main Bet: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 99.5 Receptions

Smith-Njigba caught 119 passes last season on his way to AP Offensive Player of the Year, and would become just the fourth player ever with 100 catches in three of his first four seasons if he clears this number again. Seattle also faces a softer slate of pass defences this year than it did last season, which should keep the volume flowing his way.

Fun Bet: Deshawn Stribbling Most Rookie Receiving Yards

Stribbling was a big-play threat at Ole Miss, posting back-to-back 800-plus yard receiving seasons, and lands in Arizona behind an injury-thinned receiver room with Christian Kirk and Michael Wilson both banged up. Early preseason reps have him averaging over 10 yards a catch, and the opportunity is there for him to be the rookie who leads the whole class in yardage.
