They have won 7 straight games over the LA Chargers and while there is a lot of speculation surrounding the improvements the Chiefs have made in the off-season, before seeing it with my own eyes - I need to back the Bolts as the underdog.

The Chargers are a strong Rush team and have added two new standouts to that offence. The receiving core has also got a boost with Keenan Allen returning which gives coach Harbaugh and QB Herbert a bunch of options to throw at the Chiefs D.

This game will no doubt finish close and could come down to one score. Back the trend and take the Bolts +3. Tyler Conklin was an overachiever at the Jets last season, back him in for over 1.5 receptions and Najee Harris to go Over his 6.5 total rush attempts

Los Angeles Chargers Form

The Chargers finished 2nd in the AFC West to the Chiefs last season with an 11-6 record. They were then bundled out in the first round by the Houston Texans 32-12 in the Wild Card Round.

LA were a run heavy team, ranking 11th in Rush attack and way down in 28th for passing. They have added some more pieces including Najee Harris who was battling an eye injury in the pre-season but is set to play in this one.

Keenan Allen has also returned to the Chargers and will bolster a receiving core that started to find their feet in 2024. Together with Ladd McConkey they deliver and explosive threat with QB Herbert.
