While disappointing at Mildura when last seen in May, it is worth noting that the gelding appeared not to get home when stepping up to 2000m for the first time.
He is better judged on his earlier efforts, including a third over this course and distance at start two before finishing just over four lengths away over 1706m at Gawler on a Soft surface.
Two trials should have Winning All Round ready for his return, while barrier seven should not pose any major concerns for the Aaron Bain and Ned Taylor-trained four-year-old.
The son of Zousain was scratched from a race at Ballarat Synthetic on Tuesday, and the decision to head here instead can pay dividends.

A series of encouraging trials preceded Zerealm’s debut, including a third at Murray Bridge last month.
The son of Overshare attracted market support when stepping out over 1000m at Murray Bridge two weeks ago, producing a promising first-up performance on a Soft 5.
Ridden with restraint, he caught the eye late when finishing fourth in the 10-runner field, beaten just over a length.
That form received a timely boost when the runner-up won a metropolitan maiden at Morphettville Parks on Saturday, while the rise in distance should suit Zerealm with race-day experience now under the belt.
Soft going poses no issue for the Sarah Rutten-trained galloper, who looks well placed to break through at start two.
Taylors Wines Benchmark 56 Handicap Tips (Race 5)

Rain-affected ground holds no concerns for Retourne, who handles Soft going and has also placed on Heavy ground in the past.
The gelding heads into this contest off a close-up second over this track and trip at the end of last month, where he was ridden cold from barrier eight before finishing strongly to miss narrowly.
That performance suggested a return to this distance would suit, while the form has since been strengthened by the third-placed runner winning at Murray Bridge last week.
A wide draw should not prove too much of an issue given Retourne’s tactical versatility and ability to race effectively from different positions.
Harry Grace retains the ride after partnering him last start, and while the gelding is not the most consistent, he rates a value chance to record his second victory over this distance.
Coopers Brewery Benchmark 56 Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Strathalbyn Roughie - Race 6 No. 10 Flyway
There have been several encouraging efforts from Flyway in defeat during 2026, including a third at Murray Bridge last time out.
Competing over 1600m in a Benchmark 0-58, the gelding lost his position through the middle stages before staying on past beaten runners to finish just under seven-and-a-half lengths from the winner.
That performance came on a Soft 5 surface, while any further downgrade would be no issue given Flyway has previously performed well in testing conditions.
The wide barrier is far from ideal, although he did finish runner-up from a wide alley at this track earlier in the preparation and boasts a solid record over the course and distance.
While his most recent victory came back in May last year, a change of headgear could help spark improvement and Flyway may be capable of surprising at a big price.
