The colt showed up well in his trials prior to finishing fifth in a Benchmark 64 handicap over 1100m at Morphettville in September.
Sav On Ice was freshened prior to reverting to making his second start, an effort that saw him salute by half-a-length in a 1200m maiden at the same venue.
The pick was spelled following that maiden triumph and he returned to action in a 1050m Benchmark 64 handicap back at Morphettville two weeks ago.
Jumping from a wide barrier, the three-year-old was ridden cold before delivering an eye-catching strong run to finish just over two-and-a-half-lengths back in seventh.
He raced on a Good 4 track that day and the softer going expected here shouldn’t be an issue, having gone well on wet surfaces in trials in the past.
The step back up to 1200m is a positive and he looks up to reversing form, with Out Of Square, Tripod Terror and Aquaholic, the one-two-three last time.

Murray Bridge Roughie - Race 4 No. 2 Yuri Royale
The seven-year-old showed good form last prep including when saluting in a metro contest at Morphettville Parks at the end of November.
Yuri Royale triumphed by half-a-length when contesting a 1950m Benchmark 74 handicap held on a Soft 5 surface that day.
He registered three solid efforts here that prep most recently when fourth in a 2000m Benchmark 76 handicap at this circuit in January.
The son of Good Journey was spelled following that effort and while he arrives here without a barrier trial, he has gone well fresh in the past.
The drop back in distance shouldn’t be an issue, with five of his nine previous wins having coming over this distance, while he is a dual track/trip winner.
Jockey Caitlin Toottell boasts a 25% strike-rate (3/12) when riding for the Shayne & Chelsea Cahill stable this season, while an inside barrier is a positive in this event.

Murray Bridge Best Bet - Race 5 No. 7 There Goes My Hero
Trained by Aaron Bain & Ned Taylor, There Goes My Hero has finished in the first three in all four starts since resuming with a seventh at Balaklava in February.
The four-year-old is a versatile type in regard to distance, with those placed efforts coming over a range of trips.
The son of No Nay Never’s most recent effort saw him lose out by two lengths when contesting a 2250m Benchmark 66 handicap at Morphettville Parks a week ago.
The ex-New Zealand-trained galloper found only a progressive rival too strongly when staying on nicely on that occasion.
He has gone well on soft going in the past with the wet track expected here no issue for the four-year-old.
The extra distance is expected to suit, while a wide barrier shouldn’t provide any problems in this event.

Murray Bridge Value Bet - Race 7 No. 5 I Catchem Fox
The son of Foxwedge is the least experienced runner in the field, with just five starts to his name.
However, the gelding has shown a good level of ability in those five efforts including on the forecast soft going.
His first victory same when coming home half-a-length clear of his rivals in a wet track maiden held over 1205m at Warracknabeal in August.
Two third-place finishes followed including when contesting a 1400m Benchmark 64 handicap on the Parks track at Morphettville two starts later.
Darryl Dodson’s representative ended that prep with a narrow margin success in a 1400m Benchmark 0-64 handicap at the same venue three weeks later.
I Catchem Fox jumped from a wide barrier that day and he's again been allocated a double-digit alley.
Ben Price’s mount prepped for this with a trial win at Mount Gambier recently and he looks value to resume with a win.
