Morphettville Parks Next Best Bet - Race 2 No. 11 Bardigrub

Bardigrub showed ability in two July trials prior to debuting with a strong first-up run.

Her best effort in those hit-outs was a two-length third in a 1050m trial on a sound surface early that month.

She then produced an excellent debut when finishing second in a 1000m Benchmark 66 at Murray Bridge nine days later on a Soft 5.

The filly raced on the pace that day and was beaten just over three-and-a-half lengths by Ferivia, who has since become a dual Group winner.

Teagan Voorham rides for the first time and from barrier eight the filly looks capable of breaking through on the good ground expected.

Morphettville Parks Favourite - Race 3 No. 4 Arizona Activist

Arizona Activist performed well earlier this year with victories at both Wangaratta and Geelong on sound ground.

The second of those wins came over 1500m at Geelong in April when the gelding put just under two-and-a-half lengths on his rivals in a Benchmark 64.

He followed that with three top-four finishes before being spelled and returned recently when dropped to 1200m in a Benchmark 78 at Moe.

Ben, JD & Will Hayes produced him to run second there, finishing a length behind a rival in strong form.

With suitable underfoot conditions, an inside draw and Jason Holder aboard, he looks ready to land a metro win.

Morphettville Parks Best Bet - Race 5 No. 7 Thunder Shoc

Thunder Shoc has been in excellent form this preparation, winning three times including a wet-track success over 1000m here in August.

She handled conditions comfortably that day and backed it up with two further wins on the good ground expected again.

The four-year-old raced on the pace to score by over half-a-length over 1000m in September before finishing fifth in a Class 2 on the main track.

She returned to this trip next start and proved a length too strong for twelve rivals in a Benchmark 64.

Alysha Warren sticks and from barrier four the filly looks well placed to continue her rise despite the class rise.

Morphettville Parks Value Bet - Race 8 No. 12 Dolcemente

Dolcemente produced two strong placings last prep including a third over 1800m in a Benchmark 0-68 on the main track in May.

She backed that run with a good second at the same trip before being spelled following a wet-track eighth later that month.

The mare is yet to fire this preparation but historically improves with racing and has been building fitness through two runs.

She found 1200m too sharp first up before finishing seventh on the main track and then ninth over 1550m last time in a race that has produced two subsequent winners.

With natural improvement expected third up she looks over the odds and capable of turning the tables on Falaise.
