Flemington Next Best Bet - Race 1 No. 1 Bacash
There was a big opinion of Bacash early and while he was competitive in three appearances as an early two-year-old, the Hayes-trained colt wasn't furnished.
The best performance over his first prep was a second-place finish up the Flemington straight when contesting the Maribyrnong Plate, where he beat home two subsequent stakes winners.
The youngster has benefitted from a decent spell and he now has some confidence, with Bacash backing up slick lead-up work when bolting in at Cranbourne fresh.

The Creswick Stakes has a handy recent honour roll, with Nature Strip, Gytrash, Front Page, Passive Aggressive and Right To Party all previous winners of this race.
She's An Artist is a deserving short-priced market elect for the 2025 edition, with the Ciaron Maher-trained filly impressing with two comfortable wins to open her career.
A striking chestnut with a baldy face, this three-year-old is well-bred, being by Trapeze Artist and out of She's A Wildcat, with his dam a full-sister to Foxwedge (Group 1 winner).
Mahogany Challenge Final Tips (Race 7)
Flemington Value Bet - Race 7 No. 13 Murgasty
He's improved with every start, with Murgasty relishing the distance rises along the way and the gelding broke through over 2580m at Cranbourne before a freshen-up.
Despite being nearly six weeks between runs, the half-brother to Fenway (Group 1 winner) was a single figure chance when contesting a Sandown BM70 on June 18.
With that 2400m outing a needed blowout ahead of this 200k feature, Murgasty should be further screwed down on Saturday, while he'll have no issues running out a strong 2500m.

Flemington Feature Bet - Race 8 No. 13 Cafe Millenium
A new acquisition to the Hayes stable, Cafe Millenium broke a massive drought when second-up for the new yard and that followed an encouraging return at Caulfield.
The four-year-old was made to earn his second career win, where he overcame trouble at key stages and after carrying 58.5kg in that June 21 triumph, he's now down on the 54kg minimum.
This is bigger test for Cafe Millenium, however, we've seen the ceiling of his Winter Championship rivals and now third-up with confidence, he can go on with it now.
Leilani Series Final Tips (Race 9)
Flemington Best Bet - Race 9 No. 5 Stylish
She's been in great touch since joining the Hayes yard, with two wins from three appearances this campaign and Stylish was unlucky in the second-up Caulfield defeat.
The daughter of Lonhro quickly atoned with an easy Sandown victory and while it's technically a rise in grade fourth-up, this 1400m contest vs her own sex is another very winnable race.
Stylish is the in-form runner here and her main threats are Mollyknickers (going okay, but doesn't win out of turn) and Fire Of Etna (had a saloon passage last start and fell in at a big price).
