Caulfield Favourite - Race 2 No. 4 Herecomesthestar

She was outclassed at Group 3 level before being tipped out, but Herecomesthestar was consistent prior to that and she's won a jump-out ahead of this return.

The four-year-old was a first-up winner over spring and she didn't have much luck in two subsequent appearances before an even effort on Pakenham Cup Day.

Herecomesthestar saluted over 1400m on January 4, which gives connections more options this time in, but resuming at 1100m suits.

Henley Homes Handicap Tips (Race 3)

Caulfield Value Bet - Race 3 No. 11 No Fooling

It was huge debut performance from this Ciaron Maher-trained filly, who launched from off the speed when saluting at Cranbourne on April 11.

No Fooling recorded the fastest closing sectionals of that meeting and that maiden also rated well for the program (more than two lengths faster than the BM64).

The runner-up (Iced Chocolate) franked that form when leading throughout for a big breakthrough win at her next start and the extra 100m looks ideal here.

Caulfield Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 3 Fleetwood

He was gelded ahead of his third campaign and the ultimate gear change did trick, with Fleetwood recording three wins and two placings over last autumn/winter.

The son of Encryption was tipped out after one outing over spring and a poor post-race recovery was revealed after that Group 3 Warra assignment.

Fleetwood still recorded the fastest last 400m of that Kembla card and he was in a race included Brudenell, Iowna Merc and Headwall (this is much easier).

Caulfield Best Bet - Race 6 No. 3 Immediacy

Connections opted against the Warrnambool Cup and while class could've easily have seen him home in that feature, I like him staying at 2000m for now.

Immediacy put the writing on the wall with an encouraging Flemington return and he progressed from there when saluting at Mornington last start.

I'm very wary of Aethelflaed, who looks the potential saver in the race should the price hold up, but Immediacy should have the better turn-of-foot over this trip.

Evergreen Turf Handicap Tips (Race 7)

Caulfield Roughie - Race 7 No. 4 Stylish Secret

While 1400m proved too slick first-up at Caulfield, his late work was encouraging via that April 5 resumption and he then contested the Mornington Guineas.

He just wasn't sharp enough to grab the back of the eventual winner (Movin Out) and after hitting a flat spot, Stylish Secret picked up again late in that mile feature.

Stylish Secret has handy form from his first prep, which includes a second to Evaporate after breaking through third-up and getting to 2000m should suit.
