Western Racepix Handicap Tips (Race 5)
Belmont Best Bet - Race 5 No. 1 Silent Diva
With the large team they have, it's a terrific achievement for the Williams yard to return a positive ROI from more than 150 starters at Belmont this season, and their winning strike rate sits at almost 20% at the circuit in 2025-26.
Grant & Alana Williams prepare Silent Diva, who does find herself up in the weights third-up, but also well down in grade for this midweek Class 1 after a good effort in a 60+ at Belmont second-up on July 18.
That race was taken out by the smart In Confidence, and as the pick of the on-speed brigade, this filly still had two lengths to spare on the third-placegetter, while connections thought enough of her to contest a Group 3 at the end of spring.
This winter opened with an eye-catching fourth over 1000m on July 2, recording the fastest last 800m and last 600m of the entire program.
The daughter of Alabama Express gets the winkers applied ahead of Wednesday's third-up assignment, and with any improvement off two good July performances to open the campaign, Silent Diva is well placed to go one better here.
Unite Resourcing Handicap Tips (Race 8)
Belmont Next Best Bets - Race 8 No. 5 Dark Avalanche & No. 7 Streak Of God
Two lightly raced gallopers who appeal in the penultimate are Dark Avalanche and Streak Of God, with an each-way quote available for the former, who is somewhat unconventionally placed rising from two 1000m appearances to seven furlongs.
However, Dark Avalanche was narrowly defeated at his only previous try over this distance last winter, and has the advantage of race fitness, with a pair of July hit-outs following a short summer prep that netted a fresh win.
He was still on the fresh side when laying in through the straight for a third-place finish first-up, before appearing to want further when a beaten favourite on July 15, and there's still improvement to come.
Streak Of God heads a competitive market, and we were with the Williams-trained galloper when he broke through in style second-up in February.
He was also too bad to be true on March 11 before a spell, but the July 13 trial was sharp, and while he's likely to appreciate more ground, Streak Of Gold has class and William Pike rides, with "The Wizard" striking at almost 31% for the Williams stable this season.

Belmont Value Bet - Race 9 No. 1 Articole
There's a lack of depth to the Belmont finale, with only four runners at single-figure quotes in the early markets, and it would be a touch surprising if the winner didn't come from the more fancied runners, headed by clear favourite Refemme No Angel.
He looks well placed again despite having all favours on return, but Articole is another progressive three-year-old we've been with in both wins during his second campaign.
Both victories have been much better than the narrow margins suggest, beginning with a brave 1300m triumph at Northam over Cosmo Ruler, who was an impressive winner next start before placing at Bunbury.
Stepping back to 1200m second-up was slightly against him, but he still got the better of Radiant Light in that July 8 Class 1, with the race already producing two subsequent winners, including Supido Express, who took out a Belmont 60+ last Saturday.
While drawn out, Articole is likely to push forward and potentially look for the lead under Lucy Fiore, while the rise to seven furlongs third-up shapes as logical placement for a talented youngster who is working through the grades.
