The Perth Scorchers produced their best performance of BBL10 thus far by thrashing the Sydney Sixers in Perth on Wednesday.

Scoring 4/183 off their 20 overs, the Scorchers batsmen provided a fantastic team effort with captain Mitchell Marsh (57) and Colin Munro (50) both scoring half-centuries, while Jason Roy, Josh Inglis and Liam Livingstone all provided support.

Following the loss of two quick wickets, the Sixers run chase was in trouble early as they fell to 2/10 inside the first three overs.

Opening batsmen Jack Edwards (44) was the only player to provide any real resistance for the Sixers, as only three other players made double figures and no one else scoring above 16.

Australian fast bowler Jhye Richardson continued his outstanding return from injury taking 3/15 off four overs while former Australian short from specialist Andrew Tye 4/20 off 3.4 overs.

Eventually bowled out for 97, the loss was only the third loss for the competition for the Sixers who sit atop the ladder, while the win was the Scorchers third and moved to sixth on the ladder.
