Parramatta are backed to take advantage of a Tigers side in freefall, with Josh Addo-Carr tipped to strike early against one of his favourite opponents.

The Tigers enter this contest on a six-game losing streak and have shown few signs that a turnaround is coming. Their last four defeats have all been by 13 points or more, including heavy losses to the Warriors, Bulldogs and Raiders.

Their attack has completely fallen away during that run. Wests Tigers have failed to score more than 10 points in each of their last five matches, averaging just 6.4 points while conceding 31.2 across that period.

That makes Parramatta -8.5 the preferred line selection, with Parramatta 13+ also worth backing in the winning-margin market. Wests Tigers have lost six consecutive games and are coming off a humiliating 56-10 defeat against Canberra.

The Raiders scored five first-half tries and finished with 10 linebreaks while running for more than 600 additional metres. It was the third time this season that the Tigers had conceded at least 50 points.

The Tigers have now lost their last three games by a combined score of 120-16. They were held scoreless by Canterbury, managed only six points against the Warriors and struggled to create anything consistently against Canberra.

Parramatta Eels Form Analysis

Parramatta have lost three of their last four matches, but their effort against Penrith last week was considerably better than their recent results suggest.

The Eels led 12-0 and forced the Panthers to fight their way back into the contest before eventually losing 24-18. Mitchell Moses controlled the opening stages well, while Jack Williams scored twice against the ladder leaders.

The return of Junior Paulo from a knee injury strengthens the interchange and should help Parramatta establish control through the middle. Moses, Ronald Volkman and Isaiah Iongi then have the opportunity to attack a Tigers defensive line conceding an average of 30 points per game this season.
