NRL Team Lists: Round 20


The NRL team lists for Round 20 are in, with several contenders receiving a timely boost as Origin stars return to club football.

Nathan Cleary headlines Penrith's inclusions after missing last week's win, while Brisbane welcome back a host of representative players including Reece Walsh, Payne Haas, Adam Reynolds and Patrick Carrigan. Sydney regain Sam Walker and Reece Robson, Alex Johnston returns for South Sydney, and the Warriors receive another boost with Mitchell Barnett, Kurt Capewell and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak all back in the starting side.

There are also fresh injury concerns, with Cameron Munster sidelined for Melbourne, James Tedesco remaining in concussion protocols, and Stephen Crichton unavailable for the Bulldogs after suffering a nerve injury.

Panthers vs Broncos

Thursday 7.50pm at CommBank Stadium

Panthers:

Penrith regain four Blues stars with Nathan Cleary, Liam Martin and Isaah Yeo returning after Origin duty, while Isaiah Papali'i is back after overcoming concussion.

Casey McLean also returns from a quad injury in the centres. Jack Cole, Scott Sorensen, Liam Henry and Billy Phillips revert to the interchange after filling starting roles last week.

Broncos:

Brisbane receive a massive boost with Reece Walsh, Adam Reynolds, Ezra Mam, Payne Haas and Patrick Carrigan all back in the side.

Brendan Piakura has recovered from a head knock, while Billy Walters has been named in the extended squad after returning from a long-term ACL injury.

Briton Nikora returns after a post-Origin rest, allowing Billy Burns to move back to the interchange.

Addin Fonua-Blake resumes his place in the starting front row, with Oregon Kaufusi reverting to the bench.

Knights:

Bradman Best returns from Origin to strengthen Newcastle's backline, while Greg Marzhew has been named despite battling a corked glute.

Tyson Frizell starts at prop following Cody Hopwood's calf injury, and Brodie Jones has been included on the bench for his first appearance of the season.
