Pinjarra Value Bet - Race 2 No. 7 Kiralui
Keeping Kiralui on the fresh side is no knock, as two of her last three wins have come first-up and that includes a return victory on a Soft 7 in July last year (there's been no big failures on wet tracks).
She was a touch flat at Ascot on April 30 and as a result, the six-year-old was spelled and Kiralui won a June 23 trial at Belmont ahead of a Pinjarra resumption last month.
There were excuses in a fourth-of-eleven on July 5, where a tiring leader was a roadblock and cost her momentum at a key stage, but she picked up well and beat home two subsequent winners.
Wittens Irrigation & Design Tips (Race 3)
Pinjarra Best Bet - Race 3 No. 3 Terratif
She's not a 1000m horse (prior two wins at come in the 1400m-1500m range), but with a slick trial win and a soft track making it a more testing five furlongs, Terratif proved too classy first-up.
William Pike stays aboard the Grant & Alana Williams-trained galloper and they've been one of the powerful jockey/trainer combinations for a long time now (they combined for 67 winners last season).
Terratif has improvement to come and this isn't any stronger than what she faced fresh, with her main rival being Gi Gi Pops, who may need the run first-up over a distance short of her best.

Pinjarra Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 11 Shmoov Moova
It'll be interesting to see how Shmoov Moova progresses this season and while he was far from furnished over his first two campaigns, the son of Territories could easily be unbeaten.
He's won four from six, with the first miss coming last winter when throwing away his debut assignment and the only loss this year was a slashing fourth-pace finish in the Magic Millions 3yo Trophy.
It's not ideal resuming on wet ground, however, having options on these testing tracks means the wide draw could be favourable late in the day and he moved well in a recent trial win.

Pinjarra Roughie - Race 8 No. 12 Reliable Queen
There's been merit to both starts this prep, especially the return effort, with Reliable Queen recording the fastest last 400m and 200m of her first-up assignment at Pinjarra.
As a result of that good resumption, she was much shorter in the market second-up and that was effectively a barrier trial, as the mare spotted her rivals too big of a start from a wide alley.
Now fitter with a few runs under the belt and with a low draw for this third-up tilt, there's no reason why they can't be more positive, while wet ground won't trouble the six-year-old.
