Morphettville Best Bet - Race 2 No. 4 Divino Cavallo

The four-year-old has registered two wins from her four starts to date. including when debuting with a victory over 1050m at this venue in October.

Divino Cavallo has been racing in Victoria since then, including when recording her second win when contesting an 1100m event at Bendigo two starts later.

The daughter of Pierro won by nearly a length via a Benchmark 64 handicap on that occasion and she was spelled following that triumph.

The mare put in a solid effort in finishing fifth from a wide barrier when resuming in a Benchmark 74 handicap at Sandown ten days ago.

Robbie Griffiths’ representative caught the eye in staying on late that day and she has no barrier issues here, given she is set to jump from six off the rail.

Sheridan Clarke takes a valuable three-kilogram’s off and racing on a wet track for the first time. she looks capable of saluting in what looks an easier contest.

Morphettville Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 6 Wild Winner

Andrew Gluyas’ filly has been in good form this prep, with her sole unplaced effort from six starts coming in Listed company here at the end of March.

Wild Winner broke through for her first win of the year when delivering a victory by over one-and-a-half-lengths at Balaklava ten days ago.

The daughter of Highland Reel finished strongly to register an impressive win in the style of a filly who can compete at a higher level that day.

While all six of the selection’s efforts this prep have come on good going, she has proven effective on wet tracks in the past, placing twice from as many starts on soft going.

Taylor Johnstone, on board at Balaklava, takes two-kilogram’s off Wild Winner's back.

The three-year-old draws well and she's taken to complete a double on her return to metro racing.

Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap Tips (Race 5)

Morphettville Roughie - Race 5 No. 2 The Doll

The daughter of Starspangledbanner registered third-place finishes in her first two outings this time around.

Those two efforts included a defeat by just over one-and-a-half-lengths when contesting a 1112m Benchmark 58 handicap at Kilmore in March.

The four-year-old joined the Phillip Stokes yard following that Kilmore effort and on stable debut, she finished over 1200m at Strathalbyn in March.

The Doll delivered a solid effort that day and she took a step forward when taking out a Benchmark 0-62 handicap at Murray Bridge last time.

She finished strongly to see off her fifteen rivals having raced from mid-division in that contest and similar tactics are expected in this event.

That Murray Bridge triumph came over 1200m, however, she shouldn’t have too many issues dropping in distance.

Racing For Cystic Fibrosis South Australia Handicap Tips (Race 8)

Morphettville Value Bet - Race 8 No. 2 Talkin’ Italian

David Jolly’s gelding delivered a good second over 900m when first-up at Murray Bridge this prep.

He failed to build on that subsequently, registering four consecutive unplaced finishes, including twice when racing back at Murray Bridge.

Talkin' Italina returned to form when narrowly beaten into second in a Benchmark 0-62 handicap at Oakbank last month.

The five-year-old went on to go one better when racing at the same venue via a Benchmark 60 handicap next time and was back to 1100m there.

Connor Murtagh is set to ride the gelding for the first time, with his mount stepping up in grade for this event.

The wet track expected here is no issue, with the gelding’s soft going efforts including the previously mentioned second-place finish at Oakbank.
