Tasmania JackJumpers vs Sydney Kings NBL27 Expert Tips

The Tasmania JackJumpers are tipped to cover the +2.0 line at 1.87 against the Sydney Kings in Friday night's top-of-the-table clash at Silverdome.

Tasmania have won five of their last six games and enter the contest with a significant scheduling advantage. The JackJumpers haven't played since October 21st, while Sydney are coming off a 99-91 Ignite Cup victory in Perth on Wednesday and must now travel to Tasmania for their fourth consecutive road game.

Sydney lead the NBL in scoring at 100.9 points per game, but Tasmania are averaging 98.8 themselves and have won four of their five games as underdogs this season. With the JackJumpers well rested and Sydney facing another quick turnaround, the home side looks capable of keeping this close.

For the player props, we're combining Andrew Carr 7+ rebounds and Taran Armstrong 5+ assists in a same-game multi at 1.76. Carr has collected at least seven rebounds in seven of nine games, while Armstrong has recorded five or more assists in five of eight appearances.

Back Tasmania +2.0 at 1.87, with Andrew Carr 7+ rebounds and Taran Armstrong 5+ assists combined in a same-game multi at 1.76.

Tasmania JackJumpers vs Sydney Kings Head to Head

Sydney lead the head-to-head series 12-7 and won the most recent meeting 105-94 in January. However, Tasmania won three of the five meetings during 2025, including a convincing 104-81 home victory in November. The JackJumpers have won two of their last three home games against the Kings.

Tasmania JackJumpers Form

Tasmania enter Round 7 with a 6-2 record, sitting at the top of the NBL ladder after winning five of their last six games.

The JackJumpers haven't played since October 21st, when they produced an impressive 106-85 home victory over Brisbane in the Ignite Cup. Josh Bannan led the scoring with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists, while Taran Armstrong contributed 19 points and six assists.

Tasmania have been particularly effective from beyond the arc, shooting 38.2% from three, the second-best mark in the league. They also lead the NBL in defensive rebounding, allowing opponents just 37.0 rebounds per game.

Sydney Kings Form

Sydney improved to 6-3 with a 99-91 victory over Perth on Wednesday, their second win against the Wildcats in less than two weeks.

Kendric Davis led the way with 24 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, while Torrey Craig contributed 26 points. The Kings shot an impressive 48.5% from beyond the arc, making 16 of their 33 attempts.

Sydney have now won three straight games and lead the NBL in scoring, field goal percentage and net rating. However, Friday's trip to Tasmania represents another difficult assignment on the road, particularly with limited recovery time following Wednesday's game in Perth.

Verdict

Back Tasmania +2.0 at 1.87, with Andrew Carr 7+ rebounds and Taran Armstrong 5+ assists combined in a same-game multi at 1.76.
