The 2024/25 Premier League is heading into the final few games of the season and it's an intriguing race for who will finish with the Golden Boot as top goal scorer.

Erling Haaland was the favourite at the start of the season, but the big striker's form has suffered with Man City dropping out of the title race.

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah has come from $11 at the start of the campaign to the heavy $1.002 favourite as his Liverpool club top the table.

Check out the latest odds in the table below.
2024/25 Premier League Top Scorer
Odds
Mohamed Salah$1.002
Alexander Isak$67
Erling Haaland$501
Chris Wood$1001
Odds from bet365. Correct on 12/5/25
Haaland has won the last two golden boots in the Premier League after scoring 36 goals in his debut season in 2022/23 before then scoring 27 goals last season.

However, he has likely run his race after picking up an injury in Manchester City's FA Cup quarter-final win over Bournemouth which has seen him miss a number of games in the latter-part of the season.

Salah has scored 28 goals in the league, with Haaland trailing by seven on 21. It was certainly not out of the question that City could catch fire towards the back-end of the season, but this would have likely been as Haaland also scored consistently. His injury means he has drifted out to $501 in the betting.

Alexander Isak of Newcastle is the only threat left to Salah. Isak has scored 23 goals this season, and he is next in line at $67.

Meanwhile, Chris Wood has scored 20 goals, but he seems unlikely to have a real say in the top scorer award. At $1001 in the betting, Wood is all but out of the equation.

Liverpool have already won the league and Salah's goal contributions are a huge part of their success this term.

Chelsea winger Cole Palmer and Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo have dropped out of the betting after struggling for goals of late.

With Haaland likely out of the running to snare the top scorer award, it seems likely that Salah will secure the prize. It is disappointing to see the race for the award end with Haaland's injury. However, Salah has been on fire this season, and if he is to end as the top scorer, he would be fully deserving of the award.
