The 2024/25 Premier League season already promises so much, with the latest iteration of the competition having a lot to live up to if it will match or surpass the 2023/24 season.

Ahead of the new campaign, reigning champions Manchester City are the favourites to lift the title once again, with Pep Guardiola's side priced at $2.10 with bet365, but are they the side to back?

The 2023/24 Premier League season saw Manchester City and Arsenal fighting to the last day, with the two sides backed to emulate this in the 2024/25 campaign. City are currently priced at $2.10 to defend their crown, with Arsenal their big rivals at $2.88.

Liverpool are priced at $8.00 and provide the only other option below $10.00, with Chelsea ($21.00), Manchester United ($23.00) and Newcastle ($29.00) also in the mix.

The new season will give every side a clean slate heading into the competition. The 2023/24 season saw City edge to another title as they finished on 91 points, two clear of Arsenal in second while Liverpool languished in third with 82 points.

While the Gunners were left disappointed once again, they were able to cut the gap between themselves and City down from five points. Meanwhile, Liverpool moved up from fifth with 67 points to third last season with 82 points.

The new campaign will see a lot of change, with players likely making way for others. Managerial changes for Chelsea and Brighton have come alongside the departure of Jurgen Klopp from Liverpool, which is likely why the Reds are not shorter in the betting.

Arsenal will fancy their chances of finally becoming the bride instead of the bridesmaid this term, with the Gunners looking like they are continually building. Perhaps if the London side can add a 20+ goal striker to their ranks then they can finally secure the title.

Which side do you think will win the Premier League title in 2025? Can Manchester City do it all again, or will another side finally end their run?
