Western United were one of the form teams in the competition before their five-game winning streak was snapped at the hands of the Wanderers last week. John Aloisi's side have a favourable matchup for an immediate bounce back as they look to keep their top two push alive.
Brisbane have been absolutely horrendous for most of the season - especially at home, where they've failed to win since March 2024. Indeed, the Roar have lost nine of their 10 games at Suncorp this season, so Western at $1.90 with EliteBet looks solid odds. However, Western have conceded in their last five outings, so Brisbane can find the back of the net in defeat.

- Roar haven't won at Suncorp since March 2024
- Western have won five of their last six games
- Western have conceded in their last five games
- Roar have scored in seven of their last eight games
Head To Head
Western United are unbeaten in the last three meetings between the teams, including a narrow 1-0 triumph back in Round 10 where a Hiroshi Ibusaki penalty proved the difference.
Brisbane Roar Form
It's been a nightmare season for the Roar and now they are in very real danger of picking up the wooden spoon after Perth's upset victory over Adelaide last week.
Brisbane still have two games in hand, but they are now three points adrift of Glory, meaning they are going to need to find some wins from somewhere.
Since beating Glory back in Round 23, Brisbane have lost their last three matches against Auckland FC (2-0), Macarthur (5-1) and Melbourne City (3-2).
The Roar opened the scoring on the road against City last week and appeared on course for a share of the spoils before conceding the winner in the 85th minute.
Brisbane Roar Team News
Corey Brown and Ben Warlund remain sidelined with injuries.
Western United Form
Western come into this contest in third spot on the ladder, winning 12 of their 23 matches and scoring the second-most goals in the competition.
One of the surprise packets of the 2024/25 A-League season, Western are still a chance to secure a top two finish, but those aspirations took a hit following last week's 2-0 loss to the Wanderers.
John Aloisi's side were on a five-match winning streak prior to that defeat, scoring 19 goals in that period, with Noah Botic and Hiroshi Ibusaki amongst the top scorers in the league.
Western United Team News
Abel Walatee remains in doubt with concussion.
Verdict
Brisbane have been terrible at home all season, losing nine of their 10 matches at Suncorp.
Western have been one of the form teams in the competition, winning five of their last six, so they are backed to secure all three points here - but the Roar haven't had trouble finding the back of the net lately and can score in defeat.
