State of Origin 2026 Game 2 Same Game Multi Tips & Predictions - Best Bets for NSW vs QLD

NSW won a tight one in Game 1, expect Queensland to come out with significantly more intent in Melbourne. The Hammer is an elite big-game performer who has crossed in 3 of his last 4 Origin appearances and will be a massive target on the left edge. Walker went 3/3

NSW have won back-to-back Origins on only three occasions in the last decade, but this Blues team has genuine quality and Cleary was the difference in Game 1. If they win in Melbourne they close out the series and there's enormous motivation for that. Nawaqanitawase comes in for the injured McLean and is one of the most explosive athletes in the competition, a debut at the MCG in front of a massive crowd is the kind of stage he was made for. Cleary had 2 try assists and 1 try in Game 1 and is the engine of everything NSW do.

The outside backs dominated try scoring in Game 1 and nothing about Game 2 suggests that changes. Cobbo has scored in 3 of his last 4 Origin appearances and is a constant threat on Queensland's right edge. The Hammer is automatic, 11 tries in 10 previous Origin outings before Game 1. To'o had 8 tries in his last 7 Origin games heading into this series and is the most reliable tryscorer in NSW's arsenal. Nawaqanitawase is an X-factor inclusion who has the pace to punish any tired Maroons defender in the second half.

After a slow start to the year the Melbourne Storm have improved out of sight and it's mostly thanks to Harry Grant. His speed around the ruck, rock solid defence and footy IQ have helped the Storm to rack up the wins. The QLD Hooker has never won an Origin Man of the Match and it's rare for hookers to take the medal but Grant has been delivering in spades and should he cross for a try in a Maroons victory, it would be very likely he takes the MOM honours.

Nikora retained his spot despite the criticism and is exactly the type of Origin player who silences doubters with a try in the corner. Walker and Munster will look to exploit the edges and Nikora is one of the best hole-runners in the competition, he is no stranger to scoring tries for the Sharks. Haas is the most powerful forward in the competition and his inclusion is a massive boost for NSW's go-forward. He has scored 4 tries in 11 Origin appearances and becomes a genuine threat near the line with his size and momentum. Under 42.5 is the outlier in a tight series, Game 1 finished 22-20 and if both defences bring that same intensity to Melbourne, another low-scoring arm wrestle is very much on the cards.
