A deserving favourite for the opener is Graffiti Tycoon, arriving off two runner-up finishes in decent form races.

He would have saluted last start with a clean getaway, although is a very short price to forgive that Canterbury effort.

An each-way quote is available for Time To Dance, who was respected in betting as a second market elect on debut on April 16.

He was pretty much exactly where you don't want to be on a tight, turning Wyong circuit when back and in trouble in a leader-dominated race.

And while not threatening, he did get home well behind Mrs Marie, who had some decent prior form and almost saluted again at Kembla Grange at her next start, and he's open to natural improvement here.

Warwick Farm Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Southern Prince

He was gelded ahead of his spring resumption, and the ultimate gear change worked the trick, with Southern Prince saluting both first- and second-up.

That included a dominant mile victory at Kembla Grange as an odds-on favourite before being thrown in the deep end to contest the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes.

Southern Prince performed well in that Randwick feature, finding the line as well as anything else in a race won by Attica.

While respected in the market ahead of his April 23 return at Newcastle, his lead-up work indicated that he would need that run, and it was still a brave fresh outing.

The three-year-old covered ground for a third-place finish over 1500m, and looks right in commission here with a few more favours, while also carrying 1.5kg less from that first-up tilt.

This Waterhouse & Bott-trained gelding justified the even-money quote when saluting at Canterbury fresh on April 22.

It was perhaps a better win than the margin suggested, given he was given no peace up front and was entitled to be vulnerable late, especially being first-up.

Supermassive had won both lead-up trials ahead of that April 22 attempt.

He showed potential in his first prep, the highlight coming second-up when bolting in with a Canterbury Super Maiden.

The runner-up was Sylph, who has placed at her next four attempts, three at Listed level, with two behind a smart one in Grafterburners, while he was looking for the paddock when failing at Rosehill in a BM72 taken out by Plaintiff, a subsequent Group 3 winner.

The jockey and trainer partnership of Chad Schofield and the Richard & Will Friedman team has been a profitable one for punters to follow this season, a combination that has netted a ROI of almost 114% from their five winners together.

Chad Schofield was aboard Horizons in her two trial wins leading into this, both in decent heats.

She bolted in with the latest at Rosehill.

Horizons didn't quite live up to expectations as a late three-year-old, but the Autumn Sun mare saluted twice last campaign.
