Northam Best Bet - Race 4 No. 4 Dirty Habits
A half-brother to the handy Filthy Habits, Dirty Habits is still a work in progress for connections, but there's no doubt he has his fair share of talent.
His June 25 return at Northam was effectively another barrier trial, with the maiden dominated up front by Bookends, who franked that form with another Belmont victory on Wednesday.
Settling off the speed from a wide draw, the three-year-old only got warm late over 1100m, recording the fastest final 600m and 400m of the meeting.
Dirty Habits was also unlucky on debut at Bunbury in February when held up in the straight behind Searchin' Times, who went on to win her next three starts, including in Saturday company.
He draws much kinder second-up, while the rise to 1300m looks another positive.

Champion jockey William Pike has enjoyed a terrific start to July, arriving at Thursday's meeting with 10 winners from his first 24 rides for the month.
That includes a four-timer at Belmont on Wednesday, and he'll be eager to atone aboard I Love Ya Money after an unlucky first-up effort.
The three-year-old was held up at several stages in the straight at Belmont on July 1 and never received the galloping room he required, eventually finishing third while the quinella had uninterrupted runs.
The extra 100m for this second-up assignment looks suitable for a horse who appears likely to appreciate further in time.
Well supported on debut before finding trouble, I Love Ya Money was then given time after an unlucky, albeit plain effort at Pinjarra in April and looks capable of making amends.

Although it took her a little while to break through, the penny started to drop over summer, with Kirrily winning on January 2 before adding a second victory on February 13.
The daughter of Ducimus hasn't finished in the placings in four starts this preparation, but there's been merit in every performance.
Her biggest defeat came third-up on June 3 after covering ground throughout, before dropping in trip and finishing fourth of 14 at Kalgoorlie last start.
The Brent Martin-trained mare now steps back up in distance and has built a solid fitness base for Thursday's 2200m assignment.
With 3.5kg less than last start and a low draw to work with, Kirrily has genuine each-way claims at attractive odds.
