The top weight has been in good form this year, recording five top-three finishes from six starts in 2026.

The sole unplaced effort saw Andrew’s Memory fade into sixth after racing prominently over 2275m here last month.

The six-year-old was stepping up in distance that day after back-to-back wins, including a Benchmark 72 victory over 1966m at this circuit.

He handled a Soft 5 surface on that occasion, and similar conditions are not expected to pose any issues here.

An inside barrier is another positive, and with Caitlin Tootell retaining the ride, Andrew’s Memory appeals as a value chance.

Morphettville Parks Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 7 Burning Bright

The daughter of Fiorente is chasing her second win this preparation after saluting over 2275m at this venue three starts back.

Burning Bright came home two lengths clear in that Benchmark 68 contest before following up with a runner-up finish at the track.

She then stepped to Benchmark 78 level over 2294m and was competitive again, with those runs coming on sound surfaces.

The mare was tried off the speed in the Onkaparinga Cup at Oakbank earlier this month, where she finished sixth, but a return to more positive tactics is expected.

From barrier five and with form on wet tracks, Burning Bright looks well placed to bounce back for the Andrew Gluyas stable.

The three-year-old has produced some solid efforts over the border this preparation, including a first-up second at Cranbourne in late January.

Exit then contested two Group 2 races and performed well at big odds, highlighted by a fourth in the Kewney Stakes over 1600m at Flemington.

That form has been franked, with runners around her going on to perform strongly at Group 1 level.

A gear change to blinkers and a Heavy 8 surface saw Exit return to winning form over 1400m at Flemington late last month.

She finished off strongly to score comfortably that day and looks capable of measuring up in this Listed feature.

Morphettville Parks Best Bet - Race 10 No. 8 Nicish

Phillip Stokes’ mare resumed with a second placing over 1000m at this venue at the end of February.

Nicish was beaten less than one-and-a-half lengths in a Benchmark 72 on a wet surface and backed that up with another second over 1250m from a wide draw.

She caught the eye finishing strongly in that effort before stepping to 1400m at Oakbank two weeks ago.

The five-year-old was keen early and raced wide when finishing fourth in the Queen Of The Hills, beaten just over a length.

Dropping back in distance suits, and with wet conditions in her favour, Nicish looks well placed to break through.
