A number of strong form references are on display throughout the card, while the champion jockey Zac Purton is booked for several leading chances across the meeting.

Morrison Hill Road Handicap Tips (Race 3)
Happy Valley Favourite - Race 3 No. 1 Casa Rochester
The Australian pairing of Mark Newnham and Hugh Bowman has been a profitable one to follow over the last 12 months, with the trainer and jockey combining at a 20% strike rate and a better than 10% ROI.
Bowman was aboard for the last victory of Casa Rochester, which came in this grade in April last year when overcoming trouble in a race that has since produced nine subsequent winners.
The son of Redwood has had only six starts since that success, all in stronger company, while both of his Class 3 appearances this season have been competitive.
Although he receives a weight rise on Wednesday night, Casa Rochester finds a much easier assignment than the races he contested at his two starts in 2026.
He is always a type that requires some luck due to his racing pattern; however, after drawing wide in both runs this preparation, barrier four is a positive and there should be improvement to come third-up.
Connaught Road Central Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Happy Valley Best Bet - Race 6 No. 1 Spirit Of Peace
Spirit Of Peace won a strong Class 4 at Sha Tin just over 12 months ago, with that race including China Win, who has since been successful in stronger company.
While he has not saluted since, the John Size-trained galloper has put together a string of consistent performances in higher grades.
Back at this level on May 27, he arguably wins with a better draw and now gets that opportunity from barrier three under Zac Purton.
We only need to go back two starts to find a placing behind Giant Ballon over this track and trip, a form reference that reads well for this contest, as does his February runner-up finish in a Class 3 that has produced multiple winners.
His main threat could be Good Luck Happy. He did not progress as his first preparation wore on, but the Happy Valley debut was excellent and he arrives fresh off a terrific trial win.
Des Voeux Road Central Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Happy Valley Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 4 Together We Value
The Zac Purton and Dennis Yip partnership is not a frequent one, although the pair strike at almost 28% together over the last 12 months.
Purton takes the reins on this four-year-old, who is due for a breakthrough victory in Hong Kong.
Together We Value has produced competitive performances in all six starts since arriving from Australia and found the line nicely in a similar race here on May 27.
He settled at the rear of the field on that occasion and, hopefully this time around, can land a little closer, with the slightly kinder draw in his favour.
The gelding has been unable to gain any tactical advantage in his last three Happy Valley appearances, which has proved the difference, while the talented Robot Lucky Star shapes as one of the main dangers back in trip, although he did have every chance last start.
Leighton Road Handicap Tips (Race 8)
Happy Valley Value Bet - Race 8 No. 6 King Lotus
While there were promising signs over longer trips earlier in the season, including back-to-back runner-up finishes over 1650m at Happy Valley in November, his subsequent form over similar journeys tapered off.
A freshen-up and return to 1200m suited King Lotus on May 27, when he produced an eye-catching performance over this track, trip and grade.
That effort backed up his exposed form, with both of his victories having been recorded over the Happy Valley 1200m.
That includes a first-up success in September under a big weight before he progressed into this grade, and a genuine tempo should allow King Lotus to settle off midfield, if not a touch worse, before launching late.
Symbol Of Strength also makes some appeal as a knockout chance after being unlucky when pocketed at a key stage here last start, and he has been mostly consistent this year.
