Adelaide United is set to take on Western Sydney Wanderers in an exciting A-League matchup at Coopers Stadium. Adelaide aims to capitalize on their impressive home record, having won four of their last five games at Coopers. Adelaide United will be aiming to pile more misery on the struggling Western Sydney Wanderers when the two sides lock horns at Coopers Stadium in the A-League on Saturday night.

The pressure continues to mount on Wanderers manager Alen Stajcic as his side come into this Round 10 clash languishing in 11th spot on the ladder. Western Sydney appeared as if they were turning a corner following their brilliant derby triumph over Sydney FC, but they've gone winless in their last three games, including a most-recent 2-0 home defeat to Auckland. Meanwhile, Adelaide continue to run hot and cold - but they did register a rare away win last week over Perth and now return to fortress Coopers where they won four of their last five A-League games.

Basically the rule is fade Adelaide on the road and back them at home, so that's exactly what I'm going to do here. The Reds are simply a different team at Coopers, while the Wanderers have been terrible on the road, losing four of their last five competitive away games. Adelaide with both teams scoring looks the most likely outcome here, with Craig Goodwin backing up his excellent strike from last week to get amongst the goals again.

Adelaide have won two of the last three encounters between the sides, including a most-recent 2-0 win at Coopers back in Round 4, with Goodwin and Luka Jovanovic finding the back of the net.

Adelaide United Form Analysis

Adelaide continue to operate as one of the most erratic sides in the A-League, but they are sitting pretty in fifth spot on the ladder with a 4-0-5 record after nine rounds.

As you can see, it's either win or lose for Adelaide this season, with the Reds not seeing a draw across any of their nine opening games.

After three straight defeats against Wellington, Brisbane and Victory, Adelaide returned to the winners circle last week with a 1-0 win on the road against Perth, with Goodwin firing home a cracking strike from outside the box to secure all three points.

Western Sydney Wanderers Form Analysis

It's been a hugely disappointing start to the season for the Wanderers, with the team registering a 2-3-4 record to be languishing in second-last spot on the ladder after nine rounds.

Western Sydney's attack is just not clicking, despite some talented firepower in the final third - they've only managed six goals for the season, which is the equal-worst in the competition.

The Wanderers' attack misfired again last week as the Red & Black slumped to a 2-0 defeat at home against Auckland. Bozhidar Kraev and Kosta Barbarouses both had great chances throughout the match, but couldn't find the back of the net as the Wanderers' winless run extended to three games.

Adelaide are a different beast at Coopers - they're tipped to hand another road defeat to the Wanderers, with Craig Goodwin continuing his great form.
