Manly Sea Eagles vs Brisbane Broncos NRL Round 10 Tips & Prediction - Manly to get back to winning ways

The Manly Sea Eagles are tipped to claim another victory in NRL Round 10 as they face a severely depleted Brisbane Broncos. History and current form favour Manly, who have not lost to Brisbane at 4 Pines Park since 2010. With key Broncos stars sidelined and Jamal Fogarty back for Manly, expect the Sea Eagles to dominate, possibly by a wide margin. In summary, Manly’s strong recent form, defensive improvements under Kieran Foran, and Broncos’ growing injury list make them the clear favourites.

Manly Sea Eagles vs Brisbane Broncos NRL Round 10 Tips & Prediction

The Sea Eagles are tipped to return to the winners circle against a depleted Broncos team that haven't tasted victory at 4 Pines Park in 16 years when the two sides conclude Super Saturday action.

FozBall is real (for now) and Manly continued their superb resurgence last week, pushing Penrith all the way in a narrow 18-16 defeat. The Sea Eagles had a great chance for the upset as the Panthers were reduced to 12 men late in the second half, but they couldn't find the necessary control and game management to put themselves in a position to attack. Joey Walsh had some standout moments and is a tremendous prospect, but you've got to wonder if Jamal Fogarty was steering the side around at halfback if things would have turned out differently.

Fogarty returns from injury for this clash and I think Manly are primed for a big win at 4 Pines.

I'm a little concerned about Brisbane here. Firstly, their casualty ward continues to burst at the seams, with Adam Reynolds, Kotoni Staggs and Deine Mariner all missing after last week's defeat to the Roosters.

The Broncos have used up a LOT of energy over the last month - they had that memorable one-point win over the Tigers, defeated the Dogs with a second-string side and were bashed pillar to post by the Roosters last week, but still almost managed to overturn a 30-point deficit before going down 38-24. I wouldn't be surprised if the Broncos turned up flat as a pancake for this one.

I'm going to take Manly to win and for some extra value by a 13+ margin. Give me Haumole Olakau'atu running at the suspect Broncos' left-edge of Ezra Mam and Gehamat Shibasaki for a try.
  • Sea Eagles have won four of their last five games
  • Sea Eagles have kept their opponents to 18 points or less in their five games since Foran took over
  • Three of Sea Eagles' last four wins have been by 13+ margins
  • Two of Broncos' four defeats in 2026 have been by 13+ margins, while they also leaked 40 points vs Eels
  • Sea Eagles beat Broncos 34-6 at 4 Pines last season
  • Broncos haven't won at 4 Pines since 2010
  • Haumole Olakau'atu has scored three tries this season & scored a double vs Broncos at 4 Pines last year

Sea Eagles vs Broncos Head To Head

Broncos have won three of the last four meetings, but haven't won at 4 Pines since 2010, with Manly coming away dominant 34-6 winners at the venue last year.

Manly Sea Eagles Form Analysis

It's been a remarkable turnaround for Manly since Kieran Foran took over from Anthony Seibold.

Foran has clearly got the respect of the locker room and you can tell the extra effort the players are putting in for him - most notably in defence, with the Sea Eagles not conceding more than 18 points in the five games since Foran has taken charge.

After wins over the Dolphins, Dragons, Cowboys and Eels, many believed Manly would be brought crashing back down to earth against the Panthers last week.

That wasn't the case, with Manly producing another brilliant showing, narrowly going down by two points. Lehi Hopoate has scored a try in every game since Foran took over.

Brisbane Broncos Form Analysis

Given the circumstances, it's been an impressive season so far for the Broncos - but how long can they keep it up with so many injuries?

Michael Maguire revved up his side for against-the-odds wins over the Tigers and Bulldogs with a heavily decimated side, but couldn't do it for a third time last week against the Roosters.

Brisbane were up for the game, but were just battered by a rampaging Roosters forward pack, swiftly going down 30-0.

Reece Walsh, as he does, inspired a brilliant comeback as the Broncos looked to be rolling over the top of the Chooks late with 24 unanswered points, but a brain snap from Kotoni Staggs handed momentum back and sees him suspended for this clash.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos Team News

Jamal Fogarty returns for Manly at halfback, pushing Joey Walsh back to the bench. Ethan Bullemor comes into the starting side for Kobe Hetherington.

Tom Duffy starts at halfback for Brisbane in place of Adam Reynolds, while Antonio Verhoeven gets a start on the wing and Jesse Arthars moves to centre for the suspended Staggs. Deine Mariner is also out for an extended period after his shocking compartment syndrome injury sustained last week. Preston Riki returns from suspension.

Manly are backed to take advantage of a depleted Broncos side and continue their red-hot form in front of a packed 4 Pines crowd.
