Local trainer Grant Jobson has a talented one in Imatruestar, although he does need to start converting that promise by going through these lower grades.

The son of Star Turn was a well backed fav first-up, with both a wide draw and soft track working against when third to Adamdeeant, his main threat again.

From gate one and on firmer ground, he should turn the tables on Friday and as was evident in his maiden romp, he can run good time off the right set-up.
