The Family Of League Foundation Maiden Tips (Race 2)

Gosford Next Best Bet - Race 2 No. 1 Anderson Bridge

One of two notable class droppers in this field is Anderson Bridge and despite finding trouble at key stages, he got home with the fastest last 200m of a Canterbury BM72 on June 18.

He beat Lennox in the process, who is other acceptor in this line-up that is back to the provincials, while the engagement of Josh Parr is a positive on Thursday.

Anderson Bridge has a poor strike-rate, however, he's been in much stronger company than this since this over the last 16 months and the extra 200m should suit.

Gosford Value Bet - Race 6 No. 3 Duke Of Camden

This David Pfieffer-trained galloper showed promise in two runs over his first campaign, which includes a Goulburn breakthrough in September before being tipped out.

He hardly beat slouches in that maiden, with all five of his rivals now race winners, which includes a useful Triple Tempo (won her next two) and Mahogany Girl (four-time winner).

While he didn't progress over summer, blinkers brought about an improved effort third-up before a spell and Duke Of Camden appears forward enough off two decent trials.

Gosford Best Bet - Race 7 No. 3 Efharisto

After a runner-up finish behind a subsequent Group 2 winner on debut, this Godolphin filly was off the scene for more than 19 months prior to her Hawkesbury return on June 26.

A half-sister to Athiri, Savatiano and Vilana (all stakes winners), Efharisto backed up strong trial work when recording a soft breakthrough win via that recent resumption.

Efharisto could be striking this fillies and mares BM64 at the perfect time, as three of her main threats were all poor at their last outings, while Etude has a wide gate in her first-up attempt.
