A strong support card has been assembled, with six black-type events in total and our race-by-race preview is detailed below.

Eagle Farm Tips June 28

Race 1 - 11:43AM Mittys QTIS 3yo Fillies Plate Tips (1200m)

Best: 1. Mishani Lily. She was supported first-up at a price in what was a disappointing return at Doomben.

Mishani Lily improved second-up, where she gave 2.5kg to Gin A Tonic (narrowly beaten on Wednesday).

The only Eagle Farm winner in the field is well placed at set weights vs the fillies and she looks the likely leader.

Value: 6. Amuseantes. This Robert Heathcote-trained filly is still learning the caper, but she does have class.

Nothing went right on debut (wide and over-raced), while coming back in trip worked against her last start.

A half-sister to Startantes (Group 1 winner), Amuseantes should improve with racing and out to 1200m suits.

Race 2 - 12:18PM Eagle Farm 160 Years Raceday Handicap Tips (1200m)

Best: 10. Termagant. At the Sunshine Coast on January 25, she was the best thing beaten this season.

Termagant atoned from that luckless defeat, with the mare recording back-to-back wins before a spell.

A talented sprinter with a slick-turn-of-foot, Termagant found trouble in her June 8 return and this set-up appeals.
Value: 9. Skywolf. This seven-year-old might be looking for something a tad easier, but he's clearly going well.

He should've finished much closer first-up on May 21 and second-up, he was strong late at the Gold Coast.

Skywolf is in his second prep for Pat Webster and he won two races last time in, which includes a third-up victory.

Race 3 - 12:53PM Ladbrokes 2025 Battle Of The Bush Final Tips (1200m)

Best: 6. Invahir. Invahir hasn't finished out of the money this season and he's three-from-three under Pat Webster.

The gelding brought up the hat-trick on May 3 and he's completed two subsequent trials in June.

Those workouts have been around stakes-class horses, while he's down in the weights off recent runs.

Value: 13. Peshwa. He qualified for the final three starts back before going up in trip via his last two outings.

After carrying much bigger imposts, Peshwa is now only 1kg over the minimum and back in trip is a plus.

Taking the reins is Angela Jones, who is only two wins behind Emily Lang in the Queensland Metro Premiership.

Race 4 - 1:28PM Tattersall's Stakes Tips (1400m)

Best: 5. Autumn Boy. This Chris Waller-trained colt defied a big betting drift when saluting at Canterbury on debut.

While he's not one for a starting price perv (irrelevant in debuts anyway), Autumn Boy does look progressive.

A bigger track and a rise to 1400m are both ticks, while Central Coast franked his Sydney form last week.

Value: 3. Fabulantes. He was a debut Ipswich winner before contesting the Group 3 Ken Russel Memorial Classic.

Fabulantes was well-held behind a dominant Beadman, as was Sunrays and she won her next two at Listed level.

He was then held-up at key stages of the Oxlade Stakes and that June 14 event is a main form reference.

Race 5 - 2:07PM Tattersall's Cup Tips (2400m)

Best: 8. Don Diego De Vega. Although he hasn't saluted, it's encouraging that he's strung together two solid runs.

Don Diego De Vega showed promise in a short first Australian prep, but he never came up over summer.

Now third-up and with a 2400m run under the belt, there's no excuses for the grey, however, it's an open race.

Value: 6. Manzoice. Manzoice is a long time between drinks, with his last win coming via the 2022 Victoria Derby.

He's still been thereabouts, with the five-year-old competitive in all four Queensland outings this time in.

The Chris Waller-trained galloper didn't run a strong 3200m in the Brisbane Cup and back to 2400m is suitable.

Race 6 - 2:47PM Tattersall's Gold Crown Tips (2100m)

Best: 8. Quietness. She was supported at a long price ahead of her Australian debut at Randwick on June 7.

In a fast-run 1600m, it was a solid performance from Quietness and her European wins have all been at 2000m+.

That fresh attempt was on a Soft 7 and from seven starts on good tracks, she has five wins and two seconds.
Value: 1. Pulchritudinous. She was safely held first-up, but her trial work either side of that was encouraging.

Pulchritudinous was freshened-up after her April 1 return and she bounced back with an upset win on May 24.

It was just a run third-up, where staying at 1600m may have been against the 2024 New Zealand Oaks winner.

Race 7 - 3:23PM Tattersall's Mile Tips (1600m)

Best: 9. Cranky Harry. Over 1350m first-up at Doomben, it was effectively another trial for the five-year-old.

Like all rivals behind Pier, Cranky Harry wasn't in contention via his latest attempt, but it was still a pass mark.

He wasn't suited under WFA conditions last time and he's better placed on the minimum for a handicap.

Value: 1. Democracy Manifest. Blinkers go back on Democracy Manifest for this second-up assignment.

He's been back to the trials since his return defeat and he was given a solid workout in that Gold Coast heat.

This is a big drop in class and while there's 60kg to carry, it's the weakest race he's seen in a long time.

Race 8 - 3:58PM Tattersall's Tiara Tips (1400m)

Best: 10. Floozie. She's unbeaten in four runs for Tony Gollan and the last two have come at stakes level, which includes a last start victory in the Group 2 Dane Ripper Stakes.

Eagle Farm has been a horses for courses circuit over the 2025 Brisbane Winter Carnival and the daughter of Zoustar is unbeaten from three tries here.

With second and third both coming from off the speed, there was plenty of merit to that last start performance and she ticked the 1400m box at the Gold Coast.

Next Best: 6. Coeur Volante. She isn't as effective past 1400m and 1200m is a touch sharp for her now, so seven furlongs is the sweet spot and three of her four wins have come second-up.

The last of those victories was a dominant four-length win at Group 3 level in February and she arrived to that Caulfield event off a somewhat plain return.

Coeur Volante did enough over 1200m when returning from a freshen-up and WFA conditions suit her here, with weight swings on Zaszou, Tashi and Bubba's Bay.

Value: 2. Grinzinger Belle. The Danny O'Brien-trained galloper was spelled following a seventh-of-twelve finish in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes on April 12.

Grinzinger Belle has won three Group races this season and keeping her on the fresh side is a plus, as four of her five wins have come either first or second-up.

A front-runner who can be very dangerous when left alone in front, Grinzinger Belle looks the main speed angle in the 2025 Tatts Tiara field.

Race 9 - 4:35PM Eureka Stud W.J Healy Stakes Tips (1200m)

Best: 3. General Salute. The penny has dropped for General Salute, who won both autumn appearances in Sydney.

After dishing out a galloping lesson fresh, he ran the fastest closing splits of the Tancred Stakes meeting.

Track pattern is key, as they'll need to be making ground, but I'll forgive the good track stats (he's a different beast now).
Value: 10. The Novelist. It was an honest return from The Novelist and his second-up failure can be forgiven.

He didn't get through a Soft 7 in that June 7 event, but he'll only strip fitter and getting out to 1200m is a plus.

The Novelist is capable of sitting on the speed and absorbing a strong tempo, so it's a favourable set-up on paper.
