While the Good going suited that day, she also placed third on Soft ground at her penultimate start, so any downgrade in the surface should prove manageable.
Questionable overcame a wide draw last time and gets a better barrier five off the fence here, with Clayton Gallagher retaining the ride as the pair look capable of recording back-to-back victories.

Dubbo Value Bet - Race 7 No. 1 Blue De Beers
Course form is a positive for Blue De Beers, who registered a Class 1 victory at Dubbo back in February.
Racing over 1000m on a Good surface, the gelding came home more than two lengths clear of his nearest rival.
The four-year-old has made just three subsequent starts, including a solid third at Narromine first-up this preparation when beaten less than a length on Soft ground.
He can be forgiven a below-par Class 3 effort at Moree subsequently, while both runs this campaign have come over sub-1000m trips and the rise in distance here should suit given he has performed well over further in the past.
Clint Lundholm’s stable has been running well in defeat in recent weeks and, despite the wide barrier, Blue De Beers looks capable of producing a much stronger showing at a value price.

Two encouraging runs this preparation have Tom Vegas well placed heading into the Dubbo Gold Cup, including a narrow defeat at Bathurst last time.
Racing over 1300m in The Panorama, the gelding finished second after jumping from next to the rail.
Dean Mirfin’s galloper had taken a step forward on that occasion after resuming with a sixth over 1100m at Randwick last month, where the distance appeared on the sharp side.

Donovan Dillon, who rode him last time, is reunited with the four-year-old and, with winning form on both Good and Soft ground, the son of Peltzer looks capable of delivering in the feature.

Dubbo Next Best Bet - Race 10 No. 8 Jagerschnitzel
Two placings from four starts this preparation suggest Jagerschnitzel is building towards another win.
The most recent came over 1200m at Mudgee at the end of last month, where he was beaten a length in a Class 1 handicap on Soft ground.
The son of Zousain began awkwardly and was ridden cold as a result, but still caught the eye late when finishing strongly into third.
He has also produced solid efforts over further in the past and is versatile with regard to underfoot conditions, both of which work in his favour here.
Cameron Crockett’s galloper returns to the scene of his only previous success and, reunited with Ashley Morgan, he is selected to double his career tally in the final race on the card.
