Bendigo Value Bet - Race 7 No. 12 Kawhia
He's completed two solid jump-out's ahead of his Australian debut for trainer Tom Dabernig and 1500m looks a good starting point for the gelding.
Wet ground won't worry Kawhia, who was a Heavy 10 winner over a mile on return this season and there has been strong form from his five events as an early four-year-old.
Kawhia was doing his best work late via a 1200m Colac heat on June 19, which should bring him on for this first-up attempt and he finds a weak BM64 here.

His return failure over the Warrnambool Carnival was head-scratcher, although that winner (Cleo Cat) franked the form with a Group 3 victory at her next outing.
Rivkin put in a more encouraging display after a freshen-up, where he was the pick of the on-speed brigade in a BM70 and he carries 1kg less despite dropping in grade.
The five-year-old has an excellent heavy track record (three wins and four placings from seven tries) and this is the weakest race he's seen since taking out a BM64 in September.

Bendigo Best Bet - Race 9 No. 1 Castle On High
His February 10 flop at Caulfield can be forgiven (cardiac arrhythmia) and Castle On High has worked well in a quiet jump-out ahead of his stable debut for Cliff Brown.
The market often finds Castle On High, while the four-year-old came to hand early last campaign when recording a stylish first-up victory at Seymour over 1400m.
He made light work of Revelare in that December 19 performance and that's proven to be a terrific form reference, as Revelare won his next five starts (four at metro level).
