Tasmania comes into the final game of the season on a six-game losing streak also winning just 2 of their past 10 matches.
Considering how close the fight was for the play-in it is a real shame for the NBL24 Champions, who needed just another couple of victories to give themselves a chance to defend their title in the postseason.
Despite all of their injuries this season, the Tasmania defence was once again top-class, ranked second in the NBL with 88.2 opposition points per game. There were some real problems defending in the paint where they ranked 7th in the absence of Will Magnay and any other big body in the team.
Without a true center in the lineup for most of the season, The JackJumpers lacked diversity in attack, relying on Milton Doyle and Jordan Crawford to do the scoring, often from the outside and with very little space and time.
