The 19-year-old has featured regularly in the latter stages of major events throughout 2026, finishing runner-up in Adelaide and Doha, while also reaching the quarter-finals in Indian Wells and Miami, along with the fourth round at the Australian Open.

It has consistently taken elite opposition to halt her progress, with either top-10 players or Karolina Muchova beating her - highlighting just how tough she has become to overcome.

Her clay preparation was interrupted in Madrid, where a gastrointestinal illness contributed to a loss against Caty McNally before forcing her withdrawal from Rome.
