Mirra Andreeva vs Victoria Mboko Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Andreeva to win battle of teenage stars
In a thrilling encounter at the Qatar Open, Mirra Andreeva and Victoria Mboko face off for a place in the quarter-finals. Andreeva, a seasoned player with multiple WTA 1000 titles, seems the favorite having recently defeated Mboko decisively at Adelaide. Despite her recent challenges, including a loss at the Australian Open, Andreeva is expected to win with a -2.5 games line. Mboko, on a rapid rise in the rankings, remains a formidable opponent but historically struggles against top 10 players. The match promises high-stakes action and can be streamed live for fans globally.

Mirra Andreeva vs Victoria Mboko Tips, Prediction & Live Stream
It's a blockbuster showdown between two of the sport's brightest young talents as Mirra Andreeva and Victoria Mboko clash for a place in the Qatar Open quarter-finals in Doha on Wednesday.
Andreeva has already established herself as a top 10 mainstay over the last 12 months, winning a pair of WTA 1000 titles in Dubai and Indian Wells - but she has looked a bit shaky over the last few months, including a heavy loss to Elina Svitolina at the Australian Open in the R16. Meanwhile, Mboko has shot up the rankings to a current mark of No. 13, also picking up a WTA 1000 title at home in Canada as she looks to join Andreeva inside the top 10 in the coming months.
It's an intriguing matchup - the pair met last month in the Adelaide final and Andreeva emerged a very one-sided winner. The Russian is the more experienced of the pair and when she's won lately, it's been very convincing. Mboko is decent value as the outsider here, but I can't ignore that Adelaide match, while she has a losing record against the top 10. I'm taking Andreeva to cover a small -2.5 games line and to prevail in straights.
Andreeva vs Mboko Stats & Trends
- Andreeva has won eight of her last nine matches
- Andreeva has covered a -2.5 games line in all eight of those victories
- Andreeva beat Mboko 6-3 6-1 in Adelaide last month
- Mboko has a 2-5 record vs top 10 players
- Five of Mboko's last six matches vs top 10 players have ended in straight sets
Andreeva vs Mboko Head To Head
The pair played for the first time last month in the Adelaide final, with Andreeva coming away with a crushing win.

Mirra Andreeva Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 10-2
- WTA Doha Record: 2-1
- Current Ranking: No. 7
- Career-High Ranking: No. 5 (July 2025)
It's been a solid start to the year for Andreeva.
After making the quarter-finals in Brisbane, the 18-year-old surged to her fourth WTA titles in Adelaide without dropping a single set, crushing Mboko for the loss of just four games in the final.
However, Andreeva would have been very disappointed with her Australian Open performance. After making the R16 without dropping a set, the Russian failed to fire against Elina Svitolina, succumbing to a 6-2 6-4 loss.
Returning to action earlier this week in Doha, Andreeva was made to fight hard against Magda Linette, saving five set points in the opener before running away with a 7-6 6-1 victory.
Victoria Mboko Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 10-3
- WTA Doha Record: 2-0
- Current Ranking: No. 13
- Career-High Ranking: No. 13
Mboko has gone from outside the top 300 and on the cusp of the top 10 over the last 12 months in what has been a meteoric rise.
The 19-year-old secured a fairytale WTA 1000 title in Canada last year and also took home the silverware in Hong Kong.
After going 1-1 at the United Cup, Mboko made another final in Adelaide, beating Madison Keys and Anna Kalinskaya along the way - but as mentioned, she was no match for Andreeva in the title match.
Mboko enjoyed a very solid Australian Open main draw debut, advancing to the fourth round before going down to World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka 6-1 7-6.
The Canadian has continued her good form in Doha, beating Marie Bouzkova 7-5 6-2 and Vera Zvonareva 6-4 6-4 to reach the R16.
