Australia emerged as one of eight nations to automatically qualify from the Asian confederation, joining the first ever 48-team FIFA World Cup, which will be held across the USA, Mexico and Canada from June 12 to July 20, 2026.
Following a memorable run to the Round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Socceroos will be targeting another run to the knockout stages, with an exciting young crop of players - including Nestory Irankunda and Jordy Bos - set to get a taste of their maiden World Cup campaigns.

Socceroos World Cup Fixtures Schedule
Australia will launch their World Cup campaign against Turkiye in Vancouver before a blockbuster showdown with the USA in Seattle.
Tony Popovic's side will then conclude the group stage against Paraguay in San Clara. Check out the full schedule and match timings in AEST below.
