Official Track Manager Comments
We've got a Good 4 track rating today. We've applied 10mm of irrigation for the week. We'll monitor it this afternoon and see whether we're going to apply any more — probably up to 4mm.
The rail's out six metres. We pushed it out just over the marking from the previous meeting a fortnight ago and we're on a lovely pad of grass. The Kikuyu is really starting to come on now with the warmer weather.
Our forecast is for 18 today, 22 tomorrow on Friday and Saturday's a lovely day at around 28 degrees. The wind's a bit swirly — it'll come in from the west and end up in the north-northeast during the day.

The track's currently a Good 4 with the rail in the seven-metre position.
We've applied 28mm of irrigation for the last seven days, predominantly late last week, but the track's certainly in good order. There's a little bit of light marking from the last race meeting, but nothing that will impact racing.
The forecast for race day Saturday is a top of 25 degrees and a light north wind, which is a headwind in the side straight. I do expect the track to improve throughout the day with that warm temperature, but I expect every horse to have their chance.
