She failed to make an impact when debuting over this distance at Ballarat just over a year ago.

Shameful was beaten nine-and-a-half-lengths when finishing last-of-nine on the synthetic track that day, which marked her only appearance for the Mick Price & Michael Kent Jr stable.

The daughter of Shamus Award registered some solid efforts in her jump-out’s prior to resuming with a ninth over 1200m at Geelong in early June.

A jump-out win at Geelong followed and a change of tactics bringing about improvement when racing from the front at this venue last month.

Ultimately, Shameful was overhauled and faded to finish sixth, beaten just under five lengths having jumped at $71 for a 1300m maiden on that occasion.

While Jason Webb’s mount needs to improve further, but there's a platform to progress third-up and she can give cheek at bolters odds.

Seymour Best Bet - Race 4 No. 8 Facilitate

The three-year-old showed good form at two, including when debuting with a second over 1000m at Moonee Valley in February.

The gelding was beaten just under two lengths when contesting an eight runner event held on a Good 3 surface that day.

Facilitate went on to fill the same position when narrowly beaten in a 1000m event at Sandown Hillside the following month.

The youngster again raced on a sound surface for that event and he earned a step up to Listed company for the Redoute’s Choice Stakes at Caulfield in early April.

While he faded on that occasion, Facilitate delivered a solid effort in finishing fourth-of-five when stepped up to 1100m.

The son of Capitalist was spelled following that effort and he has shown up well in his jump-out’s ahead of his return to action.

Tahbilk Wines Handicap Tips (Race 7)

The daughter of Pride Of Dubai made the perfect start to her career when debuting with a win at Kyneton in November last year.

The four-year-old came home nearly one-and-a-half-lengths clear of her nearest rival when jumping as a $1.50 favourite on that occasion.

Playlist was stepped up to metro level racing subsequently, finishing a below par sixth-of-seven at Caulfield Heath the following month.

The mare was spelled following that effort and she was a late scratching due to becoming fractious in the barriers ahead of her intended return to action last month.

She returned this prep with a length fourth in a 1000m Benchmark 64 handicap at Cranbourne at the start of this month.

Jordan Childs’ mount is less exposed than many of her rivals and she looks value to salute second-up on Friday.

Seymour Next Best Bet - Race 8 No. 2 Blazing Sword

Tim Fitzsimmons’ representative built on a couple of promising placed efforts earlier this prep when winning at Albury in June.

The gelding broke his maiden by nearly one-and-a-half-lengths when racing on a heavy surface that day and he duly completed a double at the same venue last month.

Blazing Sword appeared to have no issues with the step up to 1600m when delivering an easy win on a Soft 7 track.

The four-year-old delivered a highly creditable effort when not beaten far into seventh in a metro Benchmark 64 at Sandown Lakeside earlier this month.

The form of that effort received a timely boost with the eighth home (Gymkhana)scoring at Bairnsdale on Tuesday.

The booking of Jamie Mott takes the eye, while Blazing Sword is also well placed back to country level.
