Race 5 No. 3 Divine Thoughts

The four-year-old demonstrated good form earlier this season including when breaking through for an impressive four-and-a-half-length victory in a Cranbourne maiden in October.

The pick won over 1600m on a good 3 surface that day and went on to win in similar fashion when contesting a 1519m Benchmark 64 handicap at Moonee Valley two starts later.

The daughter of So You Think made all on each occasion and was overhauled in the straight when stepped up to Benchmark 70 level for a 1500m event at Caulfield Heath last time.

The filly was spelled following that second-place finish in November and she prepped for this with a third in a jumpout at Pakenham last month.

Apprentice Emily Poznan boasts a near 28% strike-rate (12/43) when riding for Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman and dropping to country-level racing her mount can resume with a win.

Race 3 No. 9 She’s A Beauty

The daughter of Squamosa has shown plenty of ability in her six starts to date recording top three finishes on three occasions.

The youngster made her first start at this venue when beaten just over three lengths in finishing fourth in a 1400m here in January.

The pick has gone on to register good efforts in defeat in two subsequent starts with the first of those seeing her beaten just over a length when fifth in a 1415m event at Sale.

Both of those efforts came on a sound surface and she raced over this distance for the first time when placing second when again encountering good going at Kilmore just under two weeks ago.

Jerome Hunter’s representative is usually ridden from off the pace and with the blinkers worn for the first time at Kilmore retained she looks value to break through for her first victory.

Race 7 No. 3 Glenfinnan

The Lyn Tolson & Leonie Proctor-trained Glenfinnan is the big market mover of the day in the penultimate race on the card.

The four-year-old won a metro Benchmark 64 metro handicap at Sandown last month and this looks no harder, although he carries more weight.

Glenfinnan was $3.20 when markets opened with Ladbrokes and he's a $2.40 favourite.

Stats Say:

Trainer Bill Papazaharoudakis can boast a 19% strike-rate (6/31) at this venue and he is double-handed on the card with Pocket Size (Race 6) and Marlion’s Dream (Race 8) both set to represent him.

The latter is of particular interest at double-figure odds with Damian Lane up having won when racing first up at this venue in the past.
