The Czech struggled to begin last season, but found her groove later on, winning the WTA title in Prague, reaching the semi-finals in Monterrey and making the fourth round of Beijing.

Not overly spectacular results, but enough to keep Bouzkova inside the top 50 for another year.

The 27-year-old began her 2026 campaign in Brisbane last week, where she went out in the second round to Paula Badosa after earlier beating Jaqueline Cristian.

Bouzkova didn't have to wait long for revenge on Bouzkova, where after gaining entry into the Adelaide main draw as a lucky loser, she recovered from 1-4 down in the deciding set to emerge a 3-6 6-3 6-4 winner.
