The former US Open champion returned to feature at the Australian Open, where she put together a solid tournament, defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova and Amanda Anisimova in straight sets.

Iga Swiatek proved too much in the third round, but it was a solid foundation for Raducanu to launch her season.

The Brit couldn't build on that run in Singapore last week though, going down in a brutal three-hour opening round match against Cristina Bucsa 7-5 5-7 5-7.
