Swiatek is a three-time defending champion in Doha and hasn't lost a set at the tournament since the 2022 edition. The World No. 2 has been in great form to start the season and is backed to cover a -5.5 games line, which she has done in her last five victories. Noskova has troubled Swiatek in the past, but she's still lost the last three meetings and the 20-year-old will do well to keep this somewhat competitive at a tournament the Pole has dominated over the last three years.

Swiatek leads 4-1, winning the last three meetings after Noskova stunned the tennis world with a victory at the 2024 Australian Open.

It's been a solid start to the season for Swiatek as the World No. 2 continues her search for a first title since Roland Garros last year.

Swiatek won two of her three matches at the United Cup, suffering a defeat to Coco Gauff in the final - although she didn't look fully fit in that encounter.

Turning her attention to the Australian Open, Swiatek blitzed the draw to make the semi-finals without dropping a single set, but she suffered a heartbreaking three-set loss to eventual champion Madison Keys after having a match point in the decider.

Swiatek returned to action in Doha this week, cruising past Maria Sakkari 6-3 6-2. The Pole has won the last three editions of the Qatar Open, doing so last year without relinquishing a single set.

Linda Noskova Form

Noskova reached a career-high ranking of No. 25 after winning her maiden WTA title at the 500-level event in Monterrey last year, but she didn't have a great start to 2025 in Australia.

The Czech crashed out in the second round of Brisbane and the opening round of Adelaide and the Australian Open, suffering a loss to Clara Tauson in the latter, one year after recording the biggest win of her career against Swiatek.

Noskova has bounced back strongly from those performances, making the semi-finals of Abu Dhabi last week (lost to eventual champion Ashlyn Krueger) and defeating both Donna Vekic and Yulia Putintseva in straight sets to advance into the Doha R16.
