Both players come into this contest in great form and harbouring genuine ambitions of taking out the 50-level Korea Open title this week. It's taken top 10 players to knock Raducanu out in four of her last five tournaments, while three of Krejcikova's last four defeats have come against top 10 opponents, illustrating that it's taking the very best to beat these two at the moment.

With this in mind, I'm backing a close contest with Over 21.5 total games. Going off their respective opening matches, I think Krejcikova has the slight edge. Raducanu made double the unforced errors than winners in her win over Jaqueline Cristian and was forced to come from behind in both sets. Krejcikova meanwhile was a dominant 6-1 6-2 winner over Tatiana Prozorova. Tipping the Czech in a tight one.

Raducanu enters this showdown with a 27-18 record on the season, building up some much-needed consistency after a few injury-ravaged years.

The Brit is gradually getting back to some of her best tennis, with some highlights this year including reaching the quarter-finals of the WTA 1000 event in Miami, along with the semi-finals of Washington, R16 in Rome and third round at Wimbledon.

As mentioned, it's taking top-tier opponents to beat Raducanu at the moment - she went down to World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in Cincinnati and Elena Rybakina in the third round of the US Open.

Raducanu extend her winning streak in first round matches to 13 in her Seoul opener, winning a rain-affected match 6-3 6-4 over Jaqueline Cristian, coming from 1-3 down in both sets.

Barbora Krejcikova Form

It was a delayed start to the season for Krejcikova, but she's making up for lost time as she comes into this contest with a 13-7 record.

The two-time major champion missed the opening five months of the year due to injury, but has been improving with every tournament since her comeback.

Krejcikova made the quarter-finals in Eastbourne and the third round at Wimbledon on grass before some solid hardcourt form, including reaching the fourth round of Cincinnati and the quarter-finals of the US Open, where it took Jasmine Paolini and Jessica Pegula to stop her.

The Czech will be hoping to continue her great form in Seoul, where she's coming off a one-sided 6-1 6-2 victory over Tatiana Prozorova in her first round.
