France vs Iraq World Cup Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - France set for comfortable victory
France look set to confirm their progression to the knockout stages with a dominant performance against Iraq in Group I of the World Cup. After a tough but impressive win against Senegal, France are strong favorites, particularly with Kylian Mbappé firing on all cylinders. Iraq struggled in their opener versus Norway and are likely to face another uphill battle. Over 3.5 goals is the recommended bet, given France’s attacking prowess and defensive lapses. Expect France’s firepower to be too much for Iraq to handle.

France vs Iraq World Cup Tips, Prediction & Live Stream
France appear all set to confirm their spot in the knockout phase when they square off against Iraq at Lincoln Financial Field in World Cup Group I action on Monday.
It wasn't easy, but France survived a tough challenge from Senegal in their World Cup opener and now seemingly should have a much more comfortable time here as they look to win their opening two games at the World Cup for the fourth tournament running. Kylian Mbappe scored a cracking brace in the 3-1 triumph over Senegal, surpassing Oliver Giroud's all-time goalscoring record for the national team.
Meanwhile, Iraq were unsurprisingly blown away by the firepower of Norway, going down 4-1 as Erling Haaland also scored a double. It was always going to be difficult for Graham Arnold's side to progress from one of the toughest World Cup groups, but they can take confidence from the fact they held Spain to a 1-1 draw in a warm-up friendly.
But, overall, Iraq could receive a brutal footballing lesson here - it really depends on how ruthless Les Bleus want to be. I'm backing Over 3.5 goals for the best bet - France could easily blow this out of the park on their own, but it also covers an unlikely Iraqi goal, with the French failing to keep a clean sheet in their last six games now.
Mbappe offers no value at around $1.35 for a goal, so I'll be looking at Michael Olise for a shot prop and PSG winger Desire Doue to get on the scoresheet at much better prices.
France vs Iraq Stats & Trends

- France haven't kept a clean sheet in their last six games
- Iraq have scored in eight of their last 11 games & lost 4-1 vs Norway in their opener
- France have scored 3+ goals in six of their last seven wins
- Michael Olise had two shots on target vs Senegal & has scored three goals in his last two games for France
- Desire Doue scored two goals in three friendly appearances for France in the lead-up to the World Cup and should retain his spot in the starting side here

France Form Analysis
France have won 10 of their last 12 games in all competitions coming into this contest and will be buoyed by surviving a stern test from Senegal in their opening Group I fixture.
Didier Deschamps troops were made to work hard for a 3-1 victory, but Kylian Mbappe stood tall with a brilliant brace, taking his World Cup tally to 14 - just two behind Miroslav Klose and Lionel Messi. With potentially another two World Cups left in him after this tournament, it's surely only a matter of time before he breaks the record - in fact, he could do it by the end of this game or the group stage.
Bradley Barcola came off the bench to add a third for Les Bleus and they will now be looking to secure their spot in the knockout phase with another win here.
France Team News
Barcola was the youngest French player to score on his World Cup debut since Thierry Henry 28 years ago and the 23-year-old will be pushing for more minutes here.
Deschamps will likely be hoping to build combinations and should start the same team here, barring any training mishaps.

Iraq Form Analysis
It was a brave performance from Iraq in their opening game against Norway and for a brief moment, it appeared as if they could scrape a point.
Aymen Hussein was on target for an opening half equaliser, but Iraq just couldn't compete for the entire 90 minutes, with their level dropping as the game went on and Norway scoring two goals in the last 15 minutes to seal the 4-1 win.
Having crashed out of the 1986 World Cup group stage with three defeats, Iraq are still searching for their first point at the tournament.
Iraq Team News
Ahmed Basil could replace Jalal Hassan in goals for Iraq after the latter struggled in the loss to Norway.
Amir Al-Ammari assisted Hussein's goal and now has three in his last five for his country.
