The current season has seen Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United take the top three spots, with each of the trio impressing.
There is only one place left in the top four with Aston Villa the favourites to secure fourth. Liverpool are hot on their heels in the betting, but they are three points short of Villa with one game to play. The final weekend sees Liverpool hosting Brentford while Aston Villa travel to take on Manchester City.
Bournemouth and Brighton are the surprise inclusions in the top places at this stage, with the sides sitting in sixth and seventh respectively, ahead of the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham. However, neither of the two high-flying sides can finish in the top four.
The top four spots in the English Premier League are coveted due to the entry to the Champions League that they provide.
In the 2024/25 season, Liverpool were able to finish at the summit with 84 points, 18 clear of Newcastle in fifth. While the Reds were able to put their feet up with the title win ensuring they would finish at the summit, the sides below them were all sweating on their place in the top four.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea secured their places in the top four last season at the end of a long and arduous campaign. With just one game of the season left to come, the battle for fourth will go down to the final day.
Which sides do you think will finish in the top four in the 2025/26 season? Can Aston Villa take the final top four spot from Liverpool?
