The 2025 NRL season moves into Round 22 this week with eight games taking place from July 31-August 3. Tony Moley Adams previews all eight matches and provides his best bet.

Eels vs Storm

The league world is still in shock from the Eels’ win over the Broncos last week - now the question is can they do it again against the star-studded Storm? Melbourne haven’t been great in recent weeks but the return of Ryan Papenhuyzen and Cam Munster should steady the ship, although the loss of Jahrome Hughes (shoulder) is a massive blow.

Moley’s Tip: Storm by 13+ ($2.15 Elitebet)

Warriors vs Dolphins

An intriguing game with everything pointing to a Dolphins win - the Wahs have been poor and lose two key players in James Fisher-Harris and Chanel Harris-Tavita to injury. The Dolphins are fresh off the bye and have in-form five-eighth Kodi Nikorima back. The Wahs’ only hope is for the Auckland crowd to ride them home.

Moley’s Tip: Dolphins by 1-12 ($3.25 Dabble)

Broncos vs Rabbitohs

Injuries continue to ravage the Rabbitohs and with all the flak the Broncos have copped this week after their shock loss to the Eels, they may put on a cricket score here. If the Broncos are serious - and often this season they have not been - they should win by 40.

Moley’s Tip: Broncos under 32.5 points ($1.87 BoomBet)

Titans vs Panthers

The Titans did superbly to knock off the Warriors in New Zealand last week - can they pull off another major upset against the four time premiers? Des Hasler’s men have speed and like to throw the ball around, but Penrith’s consistency should wear them down.

Moley’s Tip: Panthers half/fulltime double ($1.55 Betr)

Dragons vs Raiders

The Raiders’ winning streak now stands at nine games but a visit to Wollongong could prove tricky as they chase the minor premiership. The Dragons have been struggling but play their best football in the Gong and if they can bring the crowd into the equation, an upset isn’t out of the question. But I’m playing it safe and sticking with the Raiders.

Moley’s Tip: Kaeo Weekes anytime try ($2.35 Dabble)

Sea Eagles vs Roosters

It’s time to put up or shut up for two last-up losers desperately needing a win to get their finals campaigns back on track. The Roosters scored 30 points against the Storm, no mean feat, but still went down 34-30 while Manly were thumped by the in-form Dogs. A tough game but I like Manly at home.

Moley’s Tip: Manly by 1-12 ($3.25 Ladbrokes)

Wests vs Bulldogs

All eyes will be on Lachlan Galvin in this game - the youngster who quit the Tigers a few weeks back to join the Bulldogs in controversial circumstances. Galvin has fitted straight into the Bulldogs’ attack but can expect a very frosty reception from Tigers fans. The kid is class though - and may just rub it in with a try.

Moley’s Tip: Galvin anytime try ($4.50 Elitebet)

Sharks vs Cowboys

The Sharks are hot favourites here despite struggling to beat a depleted Souths team last weekend. The Cowboys were a little more convincing, downing the Dragons 38-32 but questions continue to be asked about their defence. The Cowboys need a win to stay in finals contention and I think they will go away disappointed in a high-scoring affair.

Moley’s Tip: Over 48.5 points ($1.91 Dabble)
