The Jericho Cup is Australia's longest flat race worth $304,000 and run over 4600m at the famous Warrnambool racecourse.

Star jumper and city winning flat galloper Wil John (barrier one) looks hard to beat at the top of the weights from the Maher & Eustace stable, while stable mate Heberite (barrier 14) has been dominant in the Jericho series races.

Budd Fox (barrier 16) has always shown solid flat ability along with Prince Alby (barrier 11) who runs in this event third-up.

Master Poet (barrier nine) closed off well when well beaten at The Valley last start while Zabextra (barrier four) is always around the mark in these distance events.

A final field of 18 has been assembled for the 2021 Jericho Cup.
