Ladbrokes Hub F&M Maiden Plate Tips (Race 4)
Stony Creek Roughie - Race 4 No. 4 Ola Capri
Trained by Matthew Brown, Ola Capri registered a good third when beaten less than three lengths in a 1017m maiden at Moe back in November 22.
The four-year-old has made just three subsequent starts, including when returning to action with a good fourth in a 1200m affair at Mornington maiden in December.
The mare raced from the front before being overhauled in the straight when racing on a Soft 6 track that day.
Ola Capri ran well in the circumstances, having been forced to race from off the pace having blundered at the start when a well-held fifth over 1200m at Cranbourne subsequently.
She jumped from a wide alley at Cranbourne and while barrier eight isn’t ideal in this contest, this looks an easier contest and she may prove up to springing a surprise.

Stony Creek Value Bet - Race 5 No. 10 Hybrid Moments
The four-year-old gained plenty of experience in jump-outs before making her debut in a 975m maiden at Swan Hill in November.
Hybrid Moments raced behind the speed on that occasion before asserting in the straight to deliver a victory by over half-a-length on a Good 4 track.
The fifth home that day has broken her maiden since while a number of the beaten horses, including the second, third, sixth and seventh have recorded placed efforts since.
Trained by Patrick Keane, Hybrid Moments is expected to have improved for that experience while the extra distance she tackles here is expected to suit.
Connections have skipped races at Yarra Valley and Cranbourne last week to head here and she looks value to stay unbeaten.

Stony Creek Best Bet - Race 6 No. 2 Preconi
The mare made the perfect start to her career when winning on the synthetic track at Ballarat back in October 2022.
Preconi raced over 1100m on that occasion and she followed that up with a good second in a Benchmark 64 on a Soft 7 track at Ararat the following month.
While the four-year-old’s sole win last year came on her return to Ballarat’s synthetic track, that success came when racing at this Benchmark 58 level in May on her first start of the year.
The daughter of Nicconi wasn't beaten far at Echuca last start and she drops in grade here.
The Ciaron Maher & David Eustace team boast an impressive 57% strike-rate (4/7) at this venue in the last 12 months and their representative here is well placed.

Stony Creek Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 6 Sambucus
He demonstrated good form in 2023, including when placing three times from four starts in maiden company in October and November.
Those efforts preceded a good fourth when tackling previous winners in the 2025m Cranbourne Classic held on a Soft 6 track at Cranbourne on November 25.
The three horses who finished ahead of him that day had all registered success previously, with the second home also showing ability at a higher level, having placed in Listed company.
The drop to maiden company saw the pick race close to the pace before saluting by over a length in a 1968m maiden at Yarra Glen the following month.
Sambucus should have no issue with the 2100m distance here, having lost out narrowly over 2430m at Mornington three starts back.
