Kowloon Tsai Park Handicap Tips (Race 4)
Happy Valley Value Bet - Race 4 No. 8 Telecom Cheetah
An honest six-year-old from the Dennis Yip stable, Telecom Cheetah has been ticking along okay in four runs this campaign, with a flat one-second-up being the only sub-par effort.
He meets Management Folks (fav) 3kg better off from their June 14 clash here and after settling at the rear there, the son of Pins sustained a long and wide run to grab fourth.
Telecom Cheetah was only 1.5 lengths off Management Folks via that 1800m assignment and jumping from barrier one this time, he maps for a more economical run in transit.
While the 2200m box is yet to be ticked on a winning basis, he made ground to place over this track/trip last season and he's going better ahead of this third try at the distance.

Happy Valley Best Bet - Race 5 No. 7 Beau Gosse
Given his longer starting prices in the lead-up to this attempt, we may get a better quote closer to jump with this three-year-old, although this field has a long tail to it.
Beau Gosse brings comfortably the best last start figure among these runners, with the son of Time Test rattling home over this track/trip to just miss Gallant Crown on June 7.
A much more seasoned campaigner with 36 starts to his name, Gallant Crown was dropping grade there and it's worth noting that his two prior wins were both at Class 3 level.
With a better draw, Beau Gosse wins that latest attempt, but with now four runs under his belt and coming off a personal best at start seven, he only needs to hold that form.
Shan Kwong Road Park Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Happy Valley Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 1 G One Excellent
After taking a long time to breakthrough, G One Excellent made up for the earlier chances, with the gelding recording a hat-trick this season over the Happy Valley 1000m.
He handled the rise from Class 5 to Class 4 grade with ease, having recorded his last two wins at this level and was only a few strides off completing a double hat-trick on March 12.
There have been excuses in his two subsequent outings, with a midfield finish on May 17 when unsuited by the pattern, while he covered ground and lost a plate last start.
With three wins and two placings over this track/trip, G One Excellent is better suited back to 1000m and in what is a weaker Class 4, he ticks more boxes than most of his rivals.
Victoria Park Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Happy Valley Value Bet - Race 7 No. 7 H Z Tourbillon
Although he hasn't been the easiest horse to catch so far, with just 14 starts from this lightly raced five-year-old, there's time for trainer Benno Yung to turn his fortunes around.
After a slashing victory in a similar affair back in March 2021, H Z Tourbillon was off the scene for 16 months and appeared to be building back towards his best last prep.
Freshened after a midfield finish in July, the son of Eurozone then recorded an eye-catching second behind a handy Winning Icey, who has subsequently won two Class 3 races.
He never came up in two March runs and has since spent three months in Conghua, where after spelling, he returned to work and showed encouraging signs in two trials.
Waterfall Bay Park Handicap Tips (Race 9)
Happy Valley Roughie - Race 9 No. 7 Smart Idea
In a competitive event to finish the program, the price discrepancy between the $2.30 fav Reward Smile and $16 outsider Smart Idea seems ridiculous off current form.
Reward Smile is backing up from last week, where he was 2.5 lengths off the winner Wonder Kit and first-up this prep, Smart Idea finished alongside Wonder Kit.
The four-year-old has no winning form either first or second-up, which adds further merit to that May 24 effort and he backed that up with a two-length defeat on June 14.
The Frankie Lor-trained sprinter saves his best work for the Happy Valley 1200m, with all four wins recorded over this track/trip and third-up here, he'll only strip fitter.
